Thanks for the good wishes! Jude, I'm the same, I often read but don't always comment.

Week 2 – Birthdays and Black Ops

The first birthday was Fitzgerald’s. Janet blew out the candles for him.

His favorite color is spiceberry, reflected in his pjs and everyday wear.

Hunt and Janet have been finding their way around Roaring Heights by doing opportunities. Janet delivered some lettuce to the bistro.

Hunt sculpted a suspect at the police station.

A few days later he took a stone gargoyle to the business office.

Janet was really excited to begin working at the Flying V Coffeehouse. Or maybe she was just excited to get away from the chore of emptying the potty.

Francisco learned that he is the father of a boy, Jeromy Andrews. He went out on a date with Janet’s former housemate, Marilyn Downes. They met at the theater, but she got annoyed when he tried to get romantic. Francisco didn’t mind that much. He’d much rather paint babies than make them.

That evening he had his birthday.

Francisco picked out a conservative wardrobe.

The real hero this week, though, has been young Fitzgerald. He’s learned how to walk.

He’s figured out how to get into the toybox.

Talking has been difficult. He’s learned how to say “tree”…

…and “ghost,” but his own name is too much of a mouthful.

He refers to himself as Fizz, and the nickname may stick.

Week 3 – An Ice Personality (and 3 Birthdays)

The first one to have a birthday was Fizz. He gained the angler trait.

He went to school the next day and got his first black op – to research the supermarket.

Janet was the next one to have a birthday – she was coming home from work at the time.

Francisco started her portrait before she left for work. It turned out to be a masterpiece.

Ainsley invited Francisco over to a party. He spent his time there teaching Jeromy how to walk.

It’s hard to tell who Jeromy resembles, but he has his father’s dark hair.

Hunt finally produced his 25th ice sculpture and his first Urn of Franco.

He took it to Audrey Shear for his 6th black op, going through downtown Roaring Heights on the way.

Hunt ended the week with his own birthday. Barring any disasters, he should be able to partake of ambrosia soon after he becomes an elder.

Looking out the front door of the Cottoneye domicile, you can see the moon rise at sunset.

Gotta love those weeks with unceasing birthdays!  Nice update, and some lovely shots around Roaring Heights.  It's a really pretty little town.

I agree with Pip.  Roaring Heights is beautiful!  That last shot, with the moon, is just gorgeous.

Roaring Heights has the best sunrises/sunsets/moonrises/etc. The pink and gold lighting still dazzles me.

Francisco's son is adorable. Too bad he's not a suitable mate for Fizz, but I hope there's a nice, original townie-descended young lady for Fizz regardless.

Dana Capp is a little older than Fizz, as she was in grade school at the same time he was. And yes -- gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.

Week 4 – Three Sunsets

The first sunset occurred just after Fizz became a teenager.

He had to leave the house immediately and go find a mirror where he could do something about his hair.

Fizz was glad he wouldn’t have to worry about ceiling fans anymore.

He picked out a new wardrobe for himself.

The next day, Fizz learned about F. Scott Fitzgerald in school – how he wrote The Great Gatsby and gave the name the Jazz Age to his era. Fizz thought he might like to be a writer, too, until he learned about Fitzgerald’s alcoholism and marital and money problems. Fishing sounded like a better option.

The next day Fizz did a research project at Dr. Terrible’s Science Building. He decided that he would become a scientist when he graduated.

Of course, that meant he would have to start helping his mother in the garden.

There was another sunset that night…

…just before the burglar showed up.

The next day Francisco and Hunt worked on their museum pieces documenting Fizz’s teen years.

As soon as he finished posing, Fizz hurried over to the beach to catch the sunrise.

He had another reason for hurrying to the beach – her name was Dana Capp.

Ooooo!  Pretty girl there Fizz!  hehehe, I agree with Trip about finding out about his namesake.  Can't wait to see how it goes with Ms. Capp!

Things with Dana should go very well, if the Watcher has any say in the matter. I had a whole group of Capp and Monty families back in Veronaville in Sims 2.

From a person who just finished reading that book for freshman year, how did R&J kill themselves?
