My short experiment with the fridge suggests that the 1st meal you store is fine for 2/3 days but after that they go off after 12hrs or so.  Need to do more testing but this is with a new game started after the 1.7 patch using the best fridge and Riverview.

If this is what's happening then EA need to fix it soon.

Hello Everyone,

I, too, am having these problems with the patch for update version 1.7.9.  I never had any previous updates so my current version is 1.00.631. 

I am trying to install World Adventures and the error "Update Error: Invalid File Found" keeps coming up at the tail end of these installation attempts.

I really don't want to install anything thing if it is going to cause problems like some folks here have had...

But, it won't let me install WA without updating the game version.

Is there any way I can bypass this?  I really want to play my new game. Thanks for any help.

I don't know but my guess is that you can't. I think you have to have the updates that were released before WA to make it work.
I think it was like this with Sims 2 EP's as well.

Anyway, I don't know that it's the updates that's causing problems, it could also be WA itself.

I took some previous advice and completely uninstalled the game.  I reinstalled and everything worked out as far as that goes... Thanks!!!
