Sara is so cute!  Welcome to the dynasty, Cole!  You may be chained to an easel for your entire life, but at least you get to marry a princess  ;D
Correction, Sara is chained to an easel. and congratulations for figuring out my painfully obvious plan. Though this, will catch you by surprise (I think  :P)

Sara poured herself into learning her family history. She scoured every bookshelf in town, until she found a book shoved at the back of her
father's dresser. "Hmm... The Watcher's Blessing I have a hunch that this is what I'm looking for." Sara whispered to herself.

Hearts break
And for my own sake,
do not heal
that could only happen, if sims couldn't feel.
I just hope,
that my book,
this book,
will make you understand the pain
that I was rewarded for when I was slain.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Cori Jean. I am a genie. Oh, the purple skin? Don't be so stereotypical.

I went down to the beach and met a kind young gentleman, Willard Wright.

He asked me on a couple dates, I asked him on a couple, life was good for us. Our dates were always at the beach where we met.
Though, the best day of my life was when he proposed, I obviously agreed to become Cori Wright.
though, I have to admit, the day I truly became Mrs. Wright was the best moment of my unusually long life. At that moment in time Willard
was an elder, I was still a young adult.

A while after our wedding was the worst moment of my life, why? Because, Scarlet, Willard and I's daughter, was to close to the time
machine we got as a wedding present, and was sent to the past. I never saw her again.
Where were Willard and I? Celebrating our marriage like true newlyweds.
A long time after our wedding, Willard went on the everlasting journey. It was as if the Watcher thought my life wasn't tragic enough. I
truthfully wanted to smack Mr. Reaper Retriever of the Dead upside the head for taking away my true love.

For the rest of my days I was only happy at night when Willy came to visit me.

All I did during the day was stare at the wall, mourn, and write a book about my pathetic life.
One day, i didn't realize how tired I was when I went swimming until it was too late. And death became infinitely better than my life. "Cori,
I want you by my side, it wasn't my fault about what happened to you. But I want you by my side as the Genie Watcher." The Watcher
asked. And how could I refuse, or more of, why would I refuse? I now Watch genies and my son Emit. (did I forget to mention him? Oh well.)
I have finally found my dear Scarlet, she has made me infinitely proud, though I haven't spoken to her yet. And of course I Watch the
amazing Crisis household. With my spare time I dance in my old house with Willard at an arm's length away. My life, or I guess afterlife, is
finally heaven.

Hearts break
and they can heal.
I lost my husband to old age
but my story page,
was not yet done
I'm a Watcher
and my happiness can glow brighter than the sun

"Genie Watcher, was that story true?" Sara asked, tears streaming down her cheeks.
Maybe, but what's important right now is....
Did you like the story of my life?
The Genie Watcher asked in reply, probably either smirking or crying at the sadness of her own story.

Love the story of the Watcher's Blessing!  It was so sad, yet sweet at the same time.

The Storybook (short) Immortal Dynasty Chapter 9: Teenagers
« Reply #17 on: July 05, 2014, 01:29:50 PM »
Everyone was sleeping soundly, with the princess dreaming of her future.
During the day Charity did her chores happily for once. She often slept in on week-days, and weekends. She would dutifully clean the
counters and happily talk to take care of her plants.

Nobody questioned her. They were just happy that she wasn't complaining. But what nobody knew, was that one night Charity got a text,
and she quickly got dressed. So quickly in fact, that she didn't put her hair up like she had recently started to, and grabbed for the nearest
outfit, which was her cleaning outfit. She rushed to the park, to see her one true love waiting for her. Yes, she had gotten over Jordon already.

In other news, Cole and Sara's childhoods passed quickly, and they aged up to teens. (bad Genie Watcher has been bad and didn't get any
pictures D:) Cole gained the Family-Oreinted trait and Sara aged up with the Born Saleswoman trait. A few days later, prom was announced
at school, and the moment Cole and Sara got home from school after prom was announced Cole swept Sara into a dip and asked"So, Princess
Sara, would you do me the honor of attending prom with me?"
"of course silly!" She said, she was thrilled, and stunned. After all, she didn't know he would be that quick to ask her.

A new puppy was born that day. Meet Veta, the Playful Genius pup.
Nobody had really known that Cleo was pregnant, except for Cleo. "Reminds me of my own birth." Cleo had whispered to the furry bundle
of joy that sat by her paws. This puppy was born mere days before Cleo became an elder. "Cleo I don't want you to be old, I want you to
live forever." Charlotte spoke as she buried her head in the fur of her best friend. "C'mon, I'm not dead yet. I still got a few good years left
in me. Also, you and I both know I'm not meant to last forever, that's only for sims!"
Cleo comforted.

Jordon had been having a good day at work, he finally joined the Rock Branch, and became lyricist, while Charlotte had been left of with a
warning.

his secret was throwing a big Co-worker party. Everybody ended up in the garage for some reason.
But all in all this was one happy household.

The Storybook (short) Immortal Dynasty Chapter 10: Supermaxin'
« Reply #20 on: August 06, 2014, 08:32:45 PM »
I'm baack! Sorry about the delay, I don't have an excuse for it.

Congrats to Cole and Sara on going to prom together! They are quite cute  :)
They accept your congratulations happily, though Sara already knows that. I may or may not tell her that too often...
I like this... Also I like how you are integrating Scarlett's backstory and the Genie Watcher...
Thank you, I try. And I'm guessing you mean Charlotte and not Scarlett.
There it sat, upon her bedside table. It proved everything that she already knew. That she was Chosen, she was Watched, she was a dynasty
heiress, and that she was meant to be popular.

In significantly less interesting news, Charlotte finally Supermaxed cooking with one final plate of sushi. This dynasty has officially gotten
past the "barley off the ground" stage.

In other and more interesting news, all the dogs are either elders or adults (no picture of Sparkly Cleo, sorry)

Throughout every day Charlotte watched Cleo carefully, quietly wondering how long until her best friend was gone forever. Cleo, however,
was not the least bit worried, she was just as fast as ever.

Now for something that everybody wanted to see even though they never said so, yay! Charity was just listening to the stereo, when  an
announcement came on. "Charity, It DeAndre. If you're hearing this, well come check the mausoleum... Just know that I love you with all my
heart. And I wrote this to prove it."
Spoke the voice of DeAndre over the radio.

Cole, who had been staring in the room, rushed over to his clearly distressed mother. "So, he was the Mystery Man?" Asked Cole, a tiny
smile forming on his face.
"I loved him so much, I can't express my feelings for him." She sobbed into his shoulder.
"I know Mom, I know..." Cole replied, staring into space. Really, life? Really? You give my mom her true love, then you take him away? I
thought you were better than that!
You shouted in his head.
"Hey, I can't save everyone! And even if I could DeAndre said something about never wanting to be resurrected, I think it was that resurrection
was Charity's fate, not his. I'm not sure.
" The Genie Watcher spoke in his head. He was shocked, but he knew miss GW
existed, he trusted Sara. The entire time, DeAndre's song played. It was sung by Jordon! He kept this secret the whole time!

Poor Charity  :(  We never really got to see Mr. Mystery Man but if he made Charity happy, he must have been a pretty good guy.

Poor Charity  :(  We never really got to see Mr. Mystery Man but if he made Charity happy, he must have been a pretty good guy.

That is true. At least he gets put in Sara's Property later (hint Hint)

On an ordinary Sunday, 4 sims gathered around the table. 4 Birthday Cakes. Jordon went first. He sucked in a breath, stepped through the
counter, and blew on the candles. he realized all too late that he was going to be old, an Adult! Mid-Life Crisis time!

As for Sara, she just gripped Cole's hand and walked towards the counter, she dragged Cole over to his as well. Sara just stood by the
cake for a moment, and blew on the candles. "I want to make the world more beautiful, by making the sims look amazing." She wished.

The sparkles danced along her body, egging her into Young-Adult-hood. Once the sparkles evaporated, she turned to Cole and watched
him become a Young-Adult. She could just hear him whisper "Acrobatics" onto his candles.

Suddenly Charlotte grabbed the last cake, time to bring this dynasty up a notch. She also hated Adulthood, and got a midlife crisis, boo!! Man up!!

But unfortunately, a bunch of the Midlife Crisis clan wasn't the only thing getting out of hand. Sinbad was into Charity, and hated her.

The next day, the kids graduated. They were officially free of school. Woot Woot!

Sara fiddled with her hands. Finally, she got down on one knee. "Cole, I've wanted to do this ever since I learned what a proposal was,
and since then, I've been trying to figure out how to say this to you. So, here goes something. Cole, I've adored you since I was a toddler.
You used to be a big brother to me, but when I learned you weren't my big bro, well... It made me so happy, can you make me even happier
by marrying me?" She said, no some of it didn't make sense, but Cole understood exactly what she was saying.
"YES! YES! YES! YES!" He squealed.
"Whoa, Cole quiet down, you're hurting my ears!" The GW shouted to no avail.

He was so happy he took his bride-to-be in his arms and spun he around. He dropped her into dip and kissed her on the lips. This was
the dest day of his life, even better than when Charity adopted him.

"Charity, I'm getting married!" Sara shouted happily.
"To whom, may I ask?" Charity questioned, even though she already knew the answer.
"Cole! If that's O.K with you that is..." Sara answered nervously.
"I'd love to have you as a daughter-in-law! Of course you can marry him!" Charity replied with a full smile on her face.

In the kitchen, the boys were having a man-to-man chat. "I've heard Charity and Sara screaming out front, and I suppose you're here
for my blessing?" Jordon asked.
"Yeah." Cole replied sheepishly.
"I'm fine with it, she loves you so much, it'd be a crime for you not to marry her." Jordon said, smiling.

The Storybook (short) Immortal Dynasty Chapter 12: Wedding Day
« Reply #24 on: August 10, 2014, 11:43:32 AM »
I agree: I hate the mid-life crises.  They are really annoying  :(  But on a happier note, congrats to the happy couple!!
This is my first time dealing with the Mid-Life Crisises, sure they are the Crisis family, but do they really need this? There is barley anything
I can do for them! Oh well. The happy couple is currently spending 3 days in Shang Simla, apart. But don't worry, they're still in wuv.

Sara stood at the end of the aisle, waiting for her father to start the ceremony. It was her wedding day, or wedding night. Her father was
going to play "Here Comes the Bride" on his guitar for the wedding.

Unlike an ordinary wedding, Cole raced down the aisle to his bide, rather than her coming to him. But they weren't an ordinary family.

Cole squeezed her hand and ran along the aisle with her. they both laughed.

Finally, they stood under the arch, everybody already crying. Then, Physc! A random lady goes into labor. "Of course." Muttered
the GW under her breath.

They had to call off the party. Stupid lady. The next day, Sara talked to her dad to see if he would help out with the wedding that was
in a couple hours. "Daddy, today could you use the D.J. booth instead? We want to stay original."
"Of course honey, why wouldn't I?" He responded.

Cole slipped a ring on to Sara's finger nervously, he'd never seen a wedding, and didn't want to slip up in front of all these people. On
the other hand, Sara was very confident in her abilities at weddings, and clothes.

After their wedding, they caught a plane to China. "Second generation in Young Adult! Operation Honey-Moon is a go! The Genie Watcher
spouted at them. Eventually, they were in China. "Sara, leave the adventuring to me. You can do whatever." Cole told his wife.
"Are you saying girls don't adventure? Well, I challenge you to a bet. Whoever can make it to a higher Visa Level wins." Sara retorted.
"And the loser...?" Cole inquired.
"The loser has to help our kid with their homework, all of school. And the winner spends 4 nights in the luxury suits at Crisis Averted." Sara
decided.

All was going smoothly, until Cole took Sara on a nice date at Emperor's Plaza. Sara's phone had started ringing like crazy, so she picked
it up, expecting some random local to send her on a quest. But instead, it was Charlotte. "Mom?" Sara asked, perplexed.
"Sara, it's terrible." Charlotte sobbed over the phone.
"Mom, take deep breaths and tell me what happened." Sara offered, a sense of dread settling upon her.
"Cleo's dead! She died just a few hours ago. I don't know what to do..." Charlotte whimpered.
"Cl-Cl-Cleo...?" Sara asked in shock. "Mom, I'm so sorry, Cole and I are going to come home. Like, right now." Sara just grabbed her husband
and started dragging him to the airport, explaining the phone call along the way.

Oh no, not Cleo  :'(.  At least Sara and Cole finally got married after being so rudely interrupted the first time.

On a separate note, you have an excellent point.  Mid-life crises kind of go without saying for the Crisis family...

I've never heard of that before. Have you checked other threads to see if anyone else found a solution for a similar problem? You could try resetting them through resetsim. Otherwise, if you know how many days they had until aging up, you could keep track of their age manually and then cake them up on the day they were supposed to age up sans the aging bug.

Keep us updated so we can try and figure out how to fix it :)

Hi! I just started reading this story and I love it. I especially like Charity because I feel so sorry that she has to do so much work, ha ha. Cole and Sara are perfect together, so I really hope you find a way to fix their aging problem.

Yay! It fixed itself. But thanks for the concern.

Welcome to my Dynasty Brooke. Now I feel like a proper dynasty writer with two fans involved. Yeah *nods head* Charity deserves better. I have plans though. For Sims 4 *diabolical grin*. Don't worry though, she gets what she truly deserves. I'm just gonna need a Mac edition for Sims 4 and I'll be good to go. Yes, Cole and Sara are so far my favorite couple. And as I already mentioned, it fixed itself.
Yes, it's glitch time again. This time, Sara is pregnant. But she hasn't done the Matenity Spin, even though the music played. Yes, I have CC. She is wearing some. Can anybody help me?
