How Do I Add Another Sim to the Family?

I would like to know how do I go to Create a Sim and add a new Sim to my family?

As far as I know once you have created a family in CAS , you can't add a member anymore. A member of the family can be added by natural childbirth, adoption, or by another Sim  moving into or merging into the household in the community mode. Good luck!

Do you want the sim to be a relative or just adding a non-related sim to the family?

I've added the Sim via Edit Town. I want him to be Danny's younger brother.
