I assume you don't have to be at level 4 or 7 to move, but just to be sure, can you be at a higher level than that before you move towns?

Level 4 and lvl 7 are the minimum requirements. Being higher is fine.

How can you tell if something is specifically a 'Celebrity Freebie'?  When playing,  I usually have 'opt out of celebrity'  checked and I still often find random stuff in my inventory box that I'm not sure where it came from. I've also received freebies from friends and love interests.. at least I think that's where these things come from.

For celebrity gifts, you'll get a notification in the upper right hand corner. You can also keep track of the number of gifts you've received in the celebrity scrapbook, but that won't tell you what they are.

You will sometimes get items from love interests and friends, but you can not sell these. Seabody (thank you Seabody) found a "list" of most of the items that are celebrity freebies. You can find that list here:

These items are the only ones you are allowed to sell for this challenge.

I did just go read that list    Thanks guys, I'll try and keep track of the notices better, since I usually play with the Celeb option off, it's probable that I am just not recalling notices for Celeb gifts.  If in doubt I'll just keep it in the inventory with all the other stuff we can't sell.  Thanks again.

Well if you have celeb option off, that is probably why you don't recall seeing notices for celeb gifts.   MarianT is absolutely correct, you'll get a notification in the upper right hand corner - telling you that you have received "X" item for being a celebrity.

The rules say that the Vacation specific skills need to be learned while on Vacation and not with books, my sim just got a Career Op in her home town to learn the photography skill and bring a picture to work.  Is it ok to accept/complete this Opportunity or do I need to cancel it out since I have not yet been to Egypt, where we are supposed to learn the Photography skill?
