My parent Sims keep having the 'Attractive Company' moodlet

So my Sim and the one I chose have been married for awhile, yet seem to be stuck with the Attractive Company moodlet. Why is this? They're happily married, yet I see "has found a hot Sim they'll like to get to know better!".
How can you not know better, than the one you married?

Is this normal? Just wondering. Just seems like a pointless moodlet. I would understand if you decided to cheat on your spouse and found another Sim attractive. But your wife?

Have you tried using cheats to remove the moodlet and then see if it comes back?  Enable testing cheats and right click on the moodlet to remove it.

I have tried. It does come right back within about 3 seconds.

So they find each other attractive. I would think that's better than the alternative!

I'm glad they do, but it just seems like a pointless, wasted moodlet. They're already in love, so why act like they just met?
Maybe it'll go away overtime. I guess this is EA's way of "newlyweds", even though they've been married for nearly two ingame weeks now.

Do they still have the moodlet when they are apart?  Like on two different lots in town?

That's a negative. The moodlet only appears if the two are in the same room.

It likely won't go away. The "Attractive Person" moodlet isn't necessarily about someone your Sim just met but rather a Sim they find very attractive (have a lot in common with, appreciate their skill growth/job growth, etc). I think it's a nice little moodlet, and it only boosts their mood, at least it's not a negative moodlet!
