Jocasta has quite the interesting personality, and poor Bebe, she can't seem to win with her job! :(

Jocasta is lovely! I like her formal outfit-it's very pretty. And well done to Gustav for his collection of relics. And finally, Dorian has an awesome poker face  :D

Chapter 13 – Departures

One morning Dorian woke up to find the spirit of his martial arts master hovering next to his bed. “This is the day, caterpillar,” his master said. “Today you become a butterfly.”

Dorian wasn’t sure what his master meant by that. He jogged to the gym as usual and started pumping iron. All of a sudden he heard a fanfare and felt an enormous influx of happiness points. He had achieved his lifetime wish of Physical Perfection and could move to a different home. He didn’t look happy about it, but really he felt as light-hearted as a butterfly.

That afternoon Jocasta went to the library to read up on gardening. Before she could take the book from the shelf, she heard a commotion upstairs.

Ayesha Ansari was dying. As Grim left the building, Jocasta heard him muttering “One down, ten more to go.”

She was upset when she returned home, so Justice used his moodlet manager.

Over the next few days they found out what the Grim Reaper had meant. Every day, there were more deaths reported in the newspaper: Narcissa Vatos, Zelda Mae, Tori Kimura, Tamara Donner. Christopher Steel, Jamie Jolina, Justine and Marty Keaton. The day Blair Wainwright died, Bebe announced that she was retiring from work. The recent flu season had helped her get promoted to World-Renowned Surgeon because she kept getting called in to the hospital, but it had left her exhausted. “I want to spend some time with my family,” she said.

This was good news for everyone, including Simis, who was ready to become a teenager.

He looks quite a bit like Bella, and has added “great kisser” to his other traits.

Simis put together a wardrobe in his favorite color, spiceberry.

The next day he brought his cousin Aaron home from school. Aaron has become a teenager, too, and also looks like his mother.

The following day, while Bella was at work, and the children were at school, Bebe felt a bit funny while she was practicing some chess moves.

As her obituary reported, she left a legacy of love – even Grim couldn’t help becoming her friend.

Justice used the moodlet manager to remove Simis’s and Jocasta’s grief, but he and Gustav decided to work through the pain of loss on their own. Basketball helped with that.

Good-by, Bebe Hart Cottoneye. You served your legacy and Sunset Valley well.

Doesn't that just figure? I want to retire so I can spend time with my family and enjoy life. Whoops, here comes Grim! Doh!

I'm glad Bebe made it to her lifetime wish! It's sad she didn't have more time with her family, especially given that she was younger than Justice! I was expecting her to live a bit longer, but eh, it's always the ones you want to last that go first. I often do that moodlet manager trick with my multi-generational games - all people are cured except the spouse (sometimes plus one other Sim). It just feels wrong for them to suddenly forget the death of their loved one.

Anyways, I'm excited to see what Jocasta does with her life! :D
