Chapter 7 – Difficulties

When Gustav returned to China, he discovered that there weren’t any adventures available on the board. He decided that he’d spend the time learning martial arts as he didn’t want to return home yet.

“If I practice in front of the mirror, I’ll learn the skill twice as fast because there will be two of me doing it.”

It was a good thing that Gustav learned the skill because the first adventure he got was to spar with Abi Yat Sen.

When Gustav was ready to go home, he realized that he wasn’t in love with Kylee any more. Apparently she felt the same way about him.

“You gotta know when to fold,
       Know when to hold’em,
       Know when to walk away,
       Know when to run…”

Kylee had a new wardrobe and a job. Although she had to give up the guitar, at least she had an idea for a hit even if Kenny Rogers was there before her.

Dorian celebrated his birthday and decided that his lifetime wish was to achieve Physical Perfection by maxing athletics and martial arts.

He also became evil.

“Bwa-ha-ha! Everyone thinks I’m a good guy because my favorite color is white, but they’re wrong, Wrong, WRONG!”

Justice became an elder and began dropping hints that he’d like to see his grandchild before he became a ghost.

“Would you be interested in getting a new wardrobe and –“

“Yes!”

Chimes were heard.

“You do realize that I dislike children?”

“That’s okay. I’m insane.”

Besides disliking children, Bella is good, brave, lucky, and a party animal. Her favorite color is red.

Her Lifetime wish is to become a Dynamic DNA Profiler, and she spent the morning taking a course in logic…

”Out of my way, sink!”

Yeah, the chimes never lie.

For someone who dislikes children, Bella looks pretty happy.

This is a really good story. Bella Bachelor now Dislikes Children?!? That's a funny trait for her to get...

Marian I'm so enjoying this story.  I could never randomise traits.  If I got a bad one, I'd just change it to something good.   :D

lol!  Oh my.  I do love how sometimes the trait seems to lie.  I've had sims that Dislike Children, yet, they keep popping them out, others, refuse to Try for Baby.

Chapter 8 – The Second Worst Time to Give Birth

Dorian pondered the menu, but he was really trying to think of something evil to do. Eating at the restaurant when there was a refrigerator full of perfectly good, free, food was bad, but it hardly qualified as evil. He could lock someone in a room and starve them to death, but that would require the Watcher’s cooperation.

An idea came to him. “I wonder how Kylee is doing?” he mused.

A little while later… “I can’t believe Gustav has moved on already! And to Bella Bachelor, of all people. Why, she’s ancient. Ouch, I’ve got a crick in my neck just thinking about it.”

“Let me take care of that,” Dorian offered.

And one thing led to another.

Meanwhile, Bella demonstrates why you shouldn’t tell a pregnant woman that she looks like she’s carrying a basketball.

Gustav and Bella decided to decorate the nursery in their favorite colors, pink and red. They added Bebe’s painting of a kitten and an old friend.

Sheep: (I want to go live in that house. Why won’t they let me into the house?)

Finally the day came when Gustav’s divorce from Kylee was made official. As soon as he got the news, he dropped to one knee. “Bella, will you do me the honor of –“

“Yes!” she screamed.

And kept on screaming.

They decided to name her Jocasta, after Bella’s mother. Little Jo is absent- minded and good.

Gustav always knew that his preference for pink wasn’t insane.

He had promised Bella that they could go to France for their honeymoon.

What he didn’t tell Bella was that he would be spending most of the time underground.

She ate her lunch in a French café where the waitress told her she looked just like Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday except that her hair wasn’t short and she wasn’t in black and white.

The reference to the movie gave Bella an idea. She found a place where she could rent a moped...

It wasn’t a bed-and-breakfast, but the place had its own ambience.

The next morning Gustav found what he was looking for.

They returned home in time to celebrate Bella’s birthday.

Justice said that he and Bebe had enjoyed playing baby-sitter.

The next morning Dorian found some interesting news in the paper:

Kylee Cottoneye gave birth to a boy, Aaron.

Welcome Little Jo and Aaron.  Are you foreshadowing a connection?  I'm glad you kept the sheep in the story.  ;D

Getting your brother's wife pregnant. Yup, definitely evil. Also, whoah: pregnant lady can dunk! That's hilarious.

Magz, I don't know whether I'm foreshadowing anything -- story progression could move Kylee and Aaron out before he grows up. I'll just have to see what happens.

Rhoxi, Technically, Kylee is Gustav's ex-wife, but still, it's up there as a no-no.

Oh wow, pondering what Evil things to do? That's just awesome!

This chapter was just hilarious, I found myself laughing continuously. "She screamed, 'Yes!' and just kept screaming." As Bella gave birth. Talk about great timing on the proposal. :D I'm excited to read more!

Chapter 9 – Because They’re so Cute

Here are the portraits of the first generation of the legacy:

Bebe picked the darkest spot she could find in which to become an elder.

She’s an Infectious Disease Researcher now, so wanted a more practical hairstyle…

…and more comfortable clothing.

Little Jocasta was the next to have a birthday.

Sheep: (Big pink thing is sparkling. This does not bode well.)

Here is her new wardrobe.

After reading about Aaron’s birth, Dorian went over to see his son.

Kylee wanted to know when he was going to start paying child support. “Um, never?” said Dorian.

He went back a day later to find that Aaron had caught up to his cousin even though he had been born later. Aaron apparently is going to look a lot like his mother. He’s a virtuoso and couch potato.

Dorian decided to help teach the child how to walk – but not because it was a good thing to do; his socialization bar was low.

Meanwhile, the sheep is worried.

Sheep: (I’m being stalked by the big pink thing.)

Sheep: (Help!)

Sheep: (Good idea, kid. Play with the sea serpent. He’s big, he can take it.)

It won’t be long before the sheep has someone else to worry about.

Here is Simis Cottoneye. He’s absent-minded and a heavy sleeper.

That about sums up my thoughts too!  Although I'm not surprised that Dorian only taught Aaron to walk because of his own need and not that of his child.  As Shewolf says, "Dorian, you are a bum!"

Oh Dorian... I must say, Bella's got some strong genes, those should fair nicely throughout this challenge!
Welcome Simis! It's sweet for Bella to name her children after her parents. :)

Also, the Sheep is one of my favorites.
