Bob and Betty Newbie's Story

I guess you could say Betty and I are high school sweethearts.  Our families have known each other for years.  I adore Betty and am madly in love with her.  Riverview has had alot of newcomers lately, people from all over.  But, in order for you to know their story, I have to tell you mine.

It all started.............

When we graduated together.....

Against our parent wishes, we got married right after graduation, but they knew they couldn't stop us, so they went along with it.  We couldn't afford much, so we found a small trailer in a small trailer park outside of town, but we were so in love it didn't matter where we lived.

She wanted to be a rock star and I told her I would stand behind her in whatever she wanted to do and I was her biggest fan.

I guess mother nature had other plans for us at the moment.  We hadn't been married too long when she found out she was pregnant.

We put everything on hold and awaited our bundle of joy.

And the story begins.......

A Child is Born:

Life sure gets interesting in a small town.  Betty finally went into labor in the bathroom of all places.  Not long after that, our little girl Brandi was born.  She was a spunky little girl.

Our life settled into a simple routine.  I went back to work and Betty doted on Brandi.  Time goes so fast and soon Brandi was a toddler.

Betty didn't practice as much on her guitar because she did all of the things that a mother does for her little girl.  I tried to spend as much time with her as possible, but my work kept me busy, but I always gave her a kiss good night.

Brandi grew fast and her youth birthday snuck up on us.  She was modest little thing and a very simple child.  She liked her hair and a pony tail and she loved to bake us muffins in her little over.  Would not surprise me if she was a famous chef some day.

Sometimes I felt like I was missing out on the most important part of my little girls life, but she knew I loved her and Betty was always there.  Brandi loved her bedtime stories from her mommy.

Brandi explored the neighborhood and went next door to meet the neighbors.  It was kind of a run down place, but the people seemed nice enough.  Brandi spent alot of time over there.

They loved having her over there and they would let her play on the swing.  It seemed like Betty would always have to go get her before dark.
Needless to say, she didn't want to come home.

Brandi soon turned into a teen and she quite lovely, but that pony tail.  Oh well, I guess that is what makes her the way she is.

Wasn't long and she was already studying the cooking book.

A teenage boy moved in next door.  We found out it was their teenage son that had been away at boarding school and of course Brandi found out about him and went over and introduced herself and one thing led to another.

One night we were sitting on the couch.  Brandi hit me with the question, "dad, what is like being married?"

Brandi's Story:

When I first laid eyes on Skip, I knew he was the one, don't ask me how I knew, but I just knew.  Seems we went to school together, left together and did most things together.  But he never really ask me out on a date.

He did manage to work some after school and I would always wait for him on the playground.

Time went too fast and it was time for our birthdays.

We sat and ate cake and the four of us talked about every thing we could think of.

A few nights later, Skip came by the house and told me he had something to ask me.

I was so excited, but my parents, I don't think shared the same enthusiasm as we did.  They thought we were rushing things, but then looked back at the their own wedding.

A few days later, we had a private wedding and it was official, we were Mr. and Mrs. Skip Broke.  Mom called us to the table and said she had gotten a phone call.  She was invited to tour around for a few months and said that Skip and I could stay in the house for as long as we needed.

Mom and I talked some more, just the two of us and I told her I would make Skip a happy man.

Before I go to sleep at night, I lay awake looking at my new husband and wondered how I got so lucky.

That weekend, mom and dad were leaving, so we said our good byes and I told them we would be fine.

I was sad to see them go, but I was starting a new life, with a man I love.  After about a week, Skip got a phone call and said that he had to leave for a while.

That was eight hours ago, I wonder where he went and who that was on the phone?

I was so excited, I got the job I wanted at the bistro.  I just knew I would get it and they were impressed that I already knew some recipes.  That night, Skip and I were talking.  He said he really wanted kids and right away.  I told him I was starting work and he didn't seem very happy.

He told me he had just gotten a job as well, some warehouse he said.  He really didn't go into much detail about it though.

The next day, I was to start my job, but I woke up in the middle of the night and felt kind of strange....

This can't be happening, not yet, not now.  I didn't want to lose my job, but Skip was happy about it.  I took precautions.

So I was good little wife and sat at home while Skip went to work.  I heard a strange vehicle and went outside to see what it was.  Skip had rode a motorcycle home.  We barely had enough money as it was, why on earth would he do this to us.

I don't get angry very often and never had at Skip, but this was just too much to take.

He went to bed mad and I wasn't sleepy, so chatted on the computer.  Even though I had lived here all of my life, I really didn't have that many friends, but Jebidiah Wilson and I had been friends forever, so we chatted until all hours.

What had I gotten myself in to?  Maybe I should have listened to my parents, but I guess I will just have to make the most of it.

I have to admit, Skip is a good father, if anything.

Time sped by at an alarming rate and now Dustin was a youth.  He is a good boy and likes to sit and talk with his dad.

On the other had, Skip thinks I dote on him and hug him too much.  He wants Dustin to be a mans man.  Not too sure what that means.

Skip works until 3am now and not sure what kind of job stays open that long.  I had just happened to get up when Skip was coming home from work and he stopped and checked the mail.  He took out a package and put it in his pocket. I still never got a chance to tell him about the letter.  Something just didn't feel right.

We argued more than usual about the same thing.  Skip wanted me to have another baby and said not right now.  I barely just got back to work and I wasn't ready.

"Come on sweetie, just one more.  Then you can work and I will watch the kids."  Nope, not happening.

He sulked for a few days and then......

Another Bundle of Joy:

Yep, pregnant again.

I can see now, Skip is getting his wish.  My job has been kind enough to give me more days off, with pay, so that helps alot.

Things are not getting better between Skip and myself.  He keeps getting phone calls and packages.  I know the phone calls are from a woman, I just need to find out who.

I had invited Jebidiah over to see what the gender was of the baby, when another package was in the mail box.  Skip looked kind of worried when I found it, but I gave it to him and didn't ask questions, yet.

Skip keeps trying to toughen Dustin up and he plays kind of rough when they play catch.  He won't listen to me though.

Dustin didn't like that last hit and gave his father a rather nasty look.

On Skip's night off, he headed out the door without a word.  I saw where he went.  They had built a dive club down the street from us, how convenient. When I followed him there, looked like he was arguing with some woman.  He doesn't seem very popular.  I wonder if that is the same one he is getting calls from.

If you can't beat em, join em.

I left kind of late and Skip was not far behind.  Of course we argued like usual, again.

I finally had had enough and didn't like that Dustin was in the room hearing everything.  Tomorrow is another day....

Heartbroken and Alone: One year later...

Little Beau was finally born and Dustin turned into a teenager.  What a handful they are.

Things between Skip and me seemed to be improving and we had long talks about our future and our boys future.

I was really starting to get more comfortable with our marriage and Skip seemed so much more attentive, even with little Beau.

One night before he left for work, he hugged his family and left..........but this time he didn't come home.  I woke up to find the bed empty and Skip's motorcycle was gone. I watched for him out of the window, what seemed like for hours.

I heard a car and got really excited that it was Skip, but it was the neighbors across the street.  When it was late enough, I ran next door to Skips family, to see if maybe they had heard anything from him.

They said they hadn't heard anything, but would let me know if they had.  I went home so depressed and what was I going to tell Dustin?  I was hurt and confused.  Dustin tried to get my mind off of things by starting a pillow fight, but that didn't even help, I loved my son with all of my heart.

A few days went by and nothing, not a word or phone call or letter, but he did leave me something I wasn't expecting........

So as this chapter in my life closes and a new one begins, I do have a memory that will last a lifetime.........

The Story Begins..........

We are the Caliente sisters.  This is Nina, the romantic one, *rolls eyes*.  She wants to meet Mr. Right, move into a house with a white picket fence, have two kids, a boy and girl, blah blah blah.

This is me, Dina.  I don't have time for all of that nonsense romantic stuff.  I want to find a rich man, with a big house and he would have to shower me with money and jewels.

My sister and I are so different.  She says I kept stealing her boyfriends when we were in school, but she just didn't know how to keep them.  She is too quiet and keeps to herself, most of the time.

We moved to Riverview a couple of weeks ago and this place is boring.  How I let Nina talk me into moving, I will never know, but here we are.  I sure hope this place livens up some, maybe I can help do just that.  This house needs so much fixing up, but I guess that will have to wait, hopefully I won't be here to long.  You never know, someone could be just around the corner.

The Dreamers:

We finally made it.  It is an ok town.  Not much going on, but we really haven't had a chance to get out much.  Maybe Dirk will meet some nice kids in school.  I am not really looking to meet anyone yet, but maybe some day.

Don Lathario:

This town really bites.  Nothing exciting ever happens here and I keep saying I am going to move, but here I sit.  I did happen to see a new girl in town, pretty, with reddish hair.  Hmm, maybe just maybe.

The Pleasants:

It took some doing and alot of traveling, but we finally made it to Riverview.  The girls aren't that happy, but I am sure they will meet some new people in school.  Unfortunately, there are no beaches, but I guess I will have to check to see if I can find any secret places.  A man has to have one of those, especially with a house full of women.

The house I am using for Bella and Mortimer, was built by ladybug53.  It is perfect and has my favorite colors.  So thank you for building such a wonderful house.

Last but not least, Bella and Mortimer:

Mortimer had to find the right house for himself and Bella, she deserved the very best.  So they finally got to move in.

They had been so busy, Mortimer didn't even have time to propose, so now was as good a time as any.

And they went ahead and had a private wedding in their new house.

Because they were so tired, they went to bed early and decided they would explore their new home town the next morning.

So now, we need to wish Bella and Mortimer all of the luck in the world on their new life in their new home.

I really like how everything has come together, and it's nice seeing all the faces back together. I look forward to seeing how the story progresses.
From the moment I fell down that rabbit hole I've been told what I must do and who I must be. I've been shrunk, stretched, scratched and stuffed into a teapot. I've been accused of being Alice, and of not being Alice, but this is my dream. I'll decide where it goes from here.

Exploring the Town:

Bella and Mortimer were settling in nicely.  Even people that didn't know them, knew they had to be newlyweds.  Mortimer limited his work to only a few hours in the early morning, so he could spend all day with Bella.   Since his work was on the computer, it worked out whether well.

Before going exploring one morning, Bella felt rather ill.  Maybe she ate something that didn't agree with her, but maybe, just maybe.......it was something else.

Mortimer told her that they would wait until the following day and for her to just rest and take it easy.  Bella knew deep down what was wrong and she couldn't be happier, but she would wait to tell Mortimer, just to be sure.

They sat and talked for hours.  Mortimer told Bella, he loved being married to the most wonderful woman in the world.

The next morning after breakfast, Bella was sure she was pregnant and told Mortimer.

He was thrilled, to say the least and they set off in enjoy Riverview.  It had been snowing and it was close to Christmas, but they thought it was a beautiful day.

They went to a movie.  Then they went to a local museum, which had quite a few people.

Bella kept feeling someone was watching her.  The man in the white coat was kind of creepy, but her mind was on other things right at the moment.

Good grief you two, get a room.  Bella met this one lady that was too eager to gossip about the local people.

She told Bella about two sisters that moved to town a few weeks ago.  She said that Bella needed to keep an eye on the blonde one, she had heard that she had her sights on rich men, so to just be aware.

After they left the museum, they decided to go to the winter festival. They didn't stay too long.  They slow danced and grabbed a bite to eat and headed home.

Mortimer decided to give Bella her Christmas present early, he was too excited to wait.

After Bella went upstairs, Mortimer did something he hadn't done in a long time......

Across Town:

Nina, "Not sure what you are up to Dina, but it can't be good."
Dina, "I don't know what you are talking about sis, but all I know, this handsome man and his wife just moved to town.  Don't worry, I don't want to break up their marriage, but there are other ways to get what I want."

The Family Grows:

Mortimer was so attentive to Bella, not just when she was pregnant, but all of the time.  Bella was especially moody.

After Cassandra was born and when she became a toddler, she was the image of Bella and Mortimer doted on little Cassandra just like a daddy should.

Mortimer even took over teaching Cassandra how to walk and talk.  Poor Bella, couldn't even get close to Cassandra, unless Mortimer was working, but she didn't mind.  She loved that Mortimer was so dedicated to his daughter.

It seemed like Cassandra grew up way to fast, Mortimer did work longer hours and Bella actually got to spend more time with Cassandra.  One morning, Mortimers phone was ringing and he was still sleeping.  Bella answered it, as not to wake him.  A strange female voice asked for Mortimer, but didn't say who it was.  The woman said she would call back.  Bella had no reason to suspect anything was wrong, so didn't really worry about it.

It was finally Cassandra's birthday.  All she wanted was clothes, but they had to be black, not sure where that came from, but they honored her birthday wish.  She also needed glasses, but she looked so cute in them.

One morning, Mortimer told Bella he wanted another child.  Deep down, he wanted a boy to carry on the Goth name.  Bella agreed she wanted another baby too, so I guess we will leave the two lovebirds alone, maybe they will hear the chimes....

Just for fun, this is what happens when you play with fire...

I was looking at the picture of Bella and Mortimer sitting on the couch and they look so much like the ones in Sims2, it is really eerie.

These pictures are pretty much self explanitory.  Just a family that enjoys spending time together.

And I don't think that this one needs any explaining either.  Mortimer is going to be a happy man when he finds out.

Anyone that knows the Calienti sisters, knows that Dina always went after the same guy that Nina was interested in.  In my story, I am in the Goth house and I always like to pan around the town and see what other sims are doing.  So, Nina is pregnant with the guy in the picture and they are flirting.  Nina walks away and decides to make a snow angel.  Dina goes up to the guy and they start flirting, Dina walks away and Nina flirts again, while in the background, Dina is destroying Nina's snow angel.  This goes back and forth and it is hilarious to watch this from an outsider point of view.

Yes, Bella is expecting another little Goth.  She decided to call her good friend, Jebidiah, since he was a doctor and find out what the gender was.  Mortimer wanted a little boy to carry on the Goth name, but of course, he would still love a  little daughter.  She found out it was going to be a boy and she couldn't wait to tell Mortimer.

Needless to say, he was thrilled about having another baby.

Bella was going stir crazy and decided to head to town and do some shopping.  Mortimer had gone to do some errands pertaining to work and he thought she would be bored if she went with him. So she headed to town.  She met a man named Jon Lesson and found out he was in the music career and talked for a while.

Bella had just come out of the store and turned the corner and saw Mortimer talking to a blonde woman.  She heard Mortimer call her Dina and she remembered that name from somewhere and wasn't Mortimer suppose to be working?

After Mortimer left, Bella approached Dina and asked her what she was talking to her husband about.  Dina said, "hold on lady, we were talking business, don't get paranoid."  With that, Dina turned and left.

Bella was going to ask Mortimer about Dina, but it was getting late and he wasn't home yet, which was kind of odd for him.

Cassandra was growing to be an adventurous child.  She loved make believe.  She played with her blocks table and always did her homework, she was good kid.

Bella finally went into labor and Alexander was born.

Don't they make a fine looking family, but Bella couldn't get Dina off of her mind.  What did that woman want with Mortimer?  Bella was going to find out one way or another....
