Bella's Story - Somewhere Far Away - Final Chapter (update 5/25/14)

This is Bella's story.  Unfortunately, since I don't have Pleasantview, later on the story will be moved to Riverview.  There will be familiar faces and new faces.  Since I have played Sims1 and Sims2, I have played all of these families and thought it would be kind of neat to pull the story together.


Bella's Story

Journal Entry

Hi, my name is Bella Bachelor and I guess you could say I come from a modest and normal, somewhat normal, family. I really don't like to write things down, but, I figured when I have kids, they can read about my life.



This is my mom, dad and brother. 



We have a modest home and Michael and I get things we need.  Mom is pretty frugal, so she doesn't like to spend money.  Dad, well, he is just Dad.  He can be inappropriate at times, but people that know him just accepts it. They like to read alot and Micheal spends his time in front of the old TV exercising.





My best friend in the whole world is Mortimor Goth.



We are always together and we tell each other many secrets.



Their house is huge and they have alot of money, but Mortimor doesn't seem to care one way or another.  His mom and dad are kind of strange and he always tells me, he can't wait to get out of the house.  I don't quite understand graves in the backyard, but to each their own.  It is kind of creepy though.





I don't think Mortimor's mom likes me though.  He told me that she said we were poor and when he grows up, he needs to find a girl from good stock.  Not sure what that means, but it doesn't sound very nice. Motitmor's dad is pretty cool.  He is always telling ghost stories and he spends alot of time with mortimor.



I just hope that Mortimor and I will always be friends.  He is so funny and nothing like his parents.

Well, that is about all I have for now, it is time for dinner and mom hates it when we all don't eat together.

What I will probably be doing is posting some familiar faces and their backstories also.  Don Lathario, Caliente sisters, Pleasants and the Brokes.  Hope you enjoy.

My mom is so silly.  I don't know why she loves to pillow fight.  If it is not with me, it is with my brother, she can be so much fun sometimes.





And she can get some of the weirdest looks on her face.



Mortimer and I are as close as two kids could get.  He comes over to our house more than I go to his, he says his parents seem to fight all of the time and it is more fun at my house.  We play tag alot, until we almost fall to the ground laughing.



And when we are not together, we are on the phone, my mom makes fun of us all of the time.



One night, just before Mortimer left to go home, he asked, "if we do not have a boyfriend or girlfriend when we are in high school, would you go to the prom with me?"  He went on to say that other girls are icky and he didn't want to be around them.  I told him sure, we could do that.  I added that most of the boys at school were kind of icky too.



Well, it is time for my teen birthday.  Invited Mortimer and his parents, but he said they didn't want to come over and that he couldn't either.  I was really sad at that, but that won't stop me from turning into a teen.





Afterwards, we all ate bithday cake, who knows how many more times we will be together like this again.  Michael has his birthday soon and Mortimer has his in a couple of days and I want him to come over here and celebrate with a cake.  His parents don't do the cake thing, all kids should have a cake.

Bella was true to her word and invited Mortimer over for his birthday cake.  She was very nervous and had butterflies in her stomach and she didn't know why, but she would soon find out.  They had been best friends for so long, would this change anything? Mortimer finally showed up and it was time for him to blow out his candles.



Ok, this is not what she expected.  Wow, was he good looking.



It was only the three of them, so they ate cake in silence.  You could probably hear a pin drop in that dining room.



After they were done eating, Bella and Mortimer were alone.  Mortimer took Bella by the hand and told her it had seemed like forever before they turned into teens.  He went on to tell her, he wanted her to be his for all eternity.



Bella didn't know what to say, so she did the only thing that came to mind.......



She knew in her heart that they belonged together and they would be friends, no matter what.  She really hadn't thought about the future, but she couldn't imagine it without Mortimer.

Edit: I decided to go ahead and narrate the story.  If I do an update with the characters point of view, I will post it at that time.  It just seems easier to narrate.

Alot has happened in these young peoples lives.  Things change, people change, nothing ever stays the same.  Some are good and some are not so good.  Bella found out her mom was pregnant, but not by her dad.  This changed everything as far as how she felt about her mom.  She knew her mom was a little off, but no one ever dreamt, things were as bad as they were.  Her dad, however, acccepted Jocasta the way she was and pretty much buried himself in his work.

Bella would dream of long romantic dates and stolen kisse and marrying her soul mate.





Bella decided to go talk to Mortimers mother and needless to say, it didn't go well.  Mortimers parents were on the outs with each other and Cornelia just did not like Bella.  She thought that Mortimer could do alot better.  She wanted Mortimer to marry Holly Alto so that could double their money.  Money is not the answer to everything. After Bella and Cornelia got into a heated arguement, Mortimer let his mom have it and she said he could go sleep in the park for all she cared.





Bella insisted that Mortimer stay in Michael's room for the time being and Mortimer accepted.  Now it was time to have some fun and they decided to go to the summer festival.  Mortimer entered the hot dot eating contest with, Jamie, Connor and Jared.  Needless to say, the three men got sick, while Jamie won.





Then they did some slow dancing and just spent some quality time together.  They would be adult soon and they already knew what they wanted to do.



Weeks just seemed to fly by and it was time for Bella and then Mortimer to have their adult birthday.  They make such a wonderful couple.





After everything had calmed down, Mortimer pulled Bella close and said, now, it is their turn to get the heck out of this town and asked Bella where she wanted to go.



Bella told Mortimer, I have given it alot of thought and I think I want to move to Riverview.

Ok, this is where it is going to get a little sticky.  Like I said, I have to play all of these families in order to get them to the point of where they were in sims2 and then from there, it is all imagination.  If anyone has any theories as what happens or could happen, PM me with your thoughts.  It would be interesting to hear other people ideas.  So the next few entries will be a few other families, past to the present day and eventually, they will all be in Riverview at the same time.

In a town, far away... sixteen years earlier.

Darren Dreamer:

I finally married my high school sweetheart, Darleen.  I must say, she is a handful, full of life and always laughing.





I love to paint and she loves to read.  I also like to write, but it seems like I never get the chance to.  Darleen and I settled into a routine and she is pregnant with our little one and I couldn't be happier.





We were very much in love and it always seemed like we were on a our first date.



Unfortunately, Darleen fell ill not too long before the baby was born, but we thought it had something to do with the pregnancy.  Finally it was time for our bundle of joy to arrive and I had to take her to the hospital because Darleen was having trouble with the birth.



Three went in and only two of us came out.  Sadly, Darleen passed due to complications of having our son, Dirk.



I spent all of my time with Dirk.  He was such a good baby.  It seemed like no time and he was toddler and I was teaching him to walk.  Too soon it seemed and turned into a youth.



We watched tv and talked alot about the future and then time slipped away and he turned into a teen.



I still couldn't seem to come to grips with Darleen's death and Dirk suggested we start over.  I did some research and found a nice town.

So, we moved to Riverview.

On an island far away sixteen years earlier:


Daniel and Mary Sue Pleasant


My name is Daniel.  Mary Sue and I have been married a few years now and we couldn't be more opposite.  Even our jobs are different hours.  That is what most of our problem is, we never see each other. She is such a workaholic and I want kids, really bad.  She just seems too busy, but one night...



I convinced her to try for a baby.  To my amazement, she said yes and let me tell you, I didn't waste anytime, so now we wait.  In the meantime, Mary Sue accused me of cheating and I hadn't even done anything.  I know I have not been the best husband in the past, but I have really changed, but she doesn't seem to get it, so we argued...



and argued...



I finally just had to walk away, she went to the pool and went to my favorite spot on the back deck.  You just can't find a view like this anywhere else.





We finally calmed down and we went into the sauna room and discussed our future and our future nooboos to be.  I ask her what she thought about moving somewhere and starting fresh...



She, said what about our jobs.  I told her we could both transfer and we decided to sleep on it. We knew we would wait until our child was old enough and I wanted our son or daughter to go to school here on the island.

A couple of days later and our prayers were answered....

What a fun story. It's so cool how you are going back and recreating all these past families within Sims 3. Can't wait to see what they get up to in Riverview!

It seemed like Mary Sue was pregnant forever, but finally she went into labor.



We had twin girls, both with my red hair.  Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures because I was kind of busy.  Mary Sue actually took off work to care for Angela and Lilith.  They were good babies and Mary Sue doted on them night and day.  I could not hardly get near them.  I threw myself into my work and the days
turned into months.



Mary Sue is a good mom, but our relationship was going downhill fast and no matter what I did, it just wasn't enough.  Lilith had a mean streak in her and she always wanted to play with whatever Angela was playing with.  She always seemed to break her toys, whether it was intentional, I am not sure yet.



As time went on, the girls turned into youths and without Mary Sue knowing it, I purchased some property and when the girls turned teen, we were moving one way or another.  Mary Sue was even more distant, especially since she has been back to work.  Lilith still was kind of mean to her sister and it wasn't getting any better.  I guess only time will tell.  Maybe after we move, the girls will make new friends
and Mary Sue will settle down some.  All I know, I want the old Mary Sue back, but somehow, I don't think even moving is going to solve all of our problems.

Poor Daniel, Daniel is a romance sim because of Mary-Sue being such a workaholic. He wants to woohoo but there's no time for that and that leads to the maid scenario in sims 2. I like this story quite a lot

A New Beginning

Things have not really gotten any different between Mary Sue and myself.  I have tried everything.  I am still in love with her, but how long can this last.  She use to love it when I flirted with her and now, nothing but rejection.







Sometimes the girls hear us argue and I just go watch tv or play on the computer.  I don't want our girls to hear us like that.  They are my whole world and I hope it is going to be a new beginning for all of us to move.  Lilith seems like she has to beat her sister at everything and she is still mean sometimes.



Mary Sue doesn't even seem to be bothered by it all, but I try and reason with her.

Time went on and it was time for the girls teen birthdays. 

Lilith:



Angela:


It is not any different now that they are teens.




I have had talks with Lilith and all she could say was that she thought Angela was too goody goody and she would have to teach her a lesson.



I knew it was time to tell them we were moving and "no" was not an option.  But I had to do one last thing...




I will miss this view and my secret place.  I had my talk with the Mary Sue and the girls.  With some hesitation, we are moving and the day has come to go to our destination.




Riverview, here we come.


What kind of life will they have in Riverview?  What kind of people will they meet?  Will things really change between Daniel and Mary Sue?
