Nraas Story Progression Notifications

I've been trying to remove all the constant pop-ups of random people's events which I really don't care about for a while now. And looking around for people with the same problem I saw you had to set stories to none or blood, which I have but all the random ones still appear. Even after restarting the game.



Is this the correct option? It is the only thing that I've changed, am I missing something? I'd prefer not to mess around with the options as I don't know what half of it does

Oooh, I hope someone pops in to answer your question - I just installed this mod myself, and while I'm very happy with it, I don't need to know about sims gaining skills outside my household. I tried fiddling with the notifications too and I'm still getting ones that I really don't care about - I'm more interested in Meadow Carpenter-Rhodes' surprise pregnancy and shotgun marriage to Bennie Dean than I am about Sherman Bagley gaining the logic skill, lol.

I believe you got to set it in General Options, for it to be a Global setting through StoryProgression.

Benie, do you mean general options for stories? I thought I tried that, but maybe I didn't do it right. I don't want to mess with it too much because there are things I definitely want to know about all townies, but whatever I did do only helped maybe a little bit if at all.

That is what I've done, Town hall > Nraas and Story progression > General options > Options: Stories > change Story Summary to Blood for relatives. I've read about people asking the same question years ago and were told to change options that doesn't seem to exist anymore as the mod has been updated overtime, for example they never mentioned an option called Story Summary which is why I keep feeling I'm missing something


These are some of the messages I keep getting within an hour or two of ingame time, and I have made sure they're not related to any of my sims in my current active household. Nobody has even met them.

Benie, do you mean general options for stories?

Yes, that's what I meant. I would had gone more into detail, but at that time, my Sim was doing other things and I wasn't able to get to City Hall to verify what I had said is true.
