How to get Memory Pictures

I know how to get screenshots that I took myself. But, how do I get the pictures that save as memories in the game? Thanks!

I think jodysuzanne means getting the actual memory picture files. They're located in the TravelDB.package file in your desired save, and you might be able to get them out using the Sims 3 Package Editor, but I've never done it myself and I wouldn't recommend doing it without backing up your TravelDB first.

Yeah, that's possible. Hopefully jodysusanne will return to this thread and tell us what she had in mind.

And about the TravelDB.package files, after the memory feature came with Generations, mine got so horribly big, one of them was almost half a GB in size, so I decided to delete them. After backing them up first of course, should anything go wrong. All the little pictures in the sims scrapbooks disappeared, but that was all that happened. No other adverse affects on the game that I could see. Maybe some other photos vanished at the same time, but I'm not sure about that, because my sims never do much photographing anyway.

Yes, I meant retrieving the files so I can save them to photo bucket and use them in stories. I wasn't taking screenshots in the very beginning of a game but now that I'm writing about it I was hoping to get some if the pictures that are saved as memories. In the future I'll try to remember to screenshot those same moments. Thanks!
