Ok sooo issue and I am soo confused on how to fix it.
My sim was in France and the day before she leaves I decided to call to go home (done it before and obviously no issues)
It shows her leaving and it shows the screens where your playing the "find this" game but then it shows france again but as home.....when I go to the main screen it doesn't show the drop down menu to pick the towns and it doesn't show any sims like how it would when you played last...I recently in the edit mode saw the sims I made but obviously I am not in the correct town to play as them, I really hope I didn't lose they're saved files from playing them, anyone else have this issue?? Help!
UPDATE: Thankfully I finally found help, for those who may have the same issues heres the way to fix it;
1. Go to My Documents.
2. Electronic Arts
3. The Sims 3
4. Saves
After that, find your saved game's name. If you named your game Sunset Valley, you should see:
Sunset Valley.sims3
Sunset Valley.sims3.backup
Instructions
Rename Sunset Valley.sims3.backup to Sunset Valley.sims3
Delete Sunset Valley.sims3
If you have a file that ends with .bad, delete that. Anything that ends with .bad, delete.
Start up your game, and your town will be back. The game will auto generate another backup file. If you don't have a backup file, all you need to do is just delete SunsetValley.bad, and your saved game should return.
