Visitor Sim Disappeared from Game

I invited a Sim over so that my Sim could flirt and hook up with him, and possibly be in a relationship. But, when he came to my door and I clicked on him to invite him in, he disappeared completely. I tried the reset cheat and nothing happened. He doesn't even show up on my Sim's contact list, like the game deleted him completely. What do I do??

I've had this happen before, but unfortunately I'm not aware of a fix for it. :/
In my legacy this happened twice in the same town - both new versions of it. I'm assuming he's still gone after you've booted up the game after closing it?

Well, being that I hadn't saved, I pretty much had to start from scratch... so we'll see if he disappears again.

Maybe you can remake him\her and use him\her to flirt with and hook up with ( possibly? )
