I might give it a go when I get bored of my current game. I think giving them opposite traits would really liven things up :)

I just rolled for the other traits for the other Sims because I felt like doing something random instead of doing the same-old traits over and over again.

How much control are you taking of Bob? I know you have him work, repair, cook, etc., but for the rest do you sort of follow his wishes? How much time, other than work, does he spend outside the house?

Well in the challenge rules, it states that your Sim is not allowed to leave the home lot except to go to work and go to the grocery/bookstore. I try to follow Bob's wishes as much as possible, which is why he randomly works out or plays computer games.

Think I'm going to follow this one - you just gotta love an asylum challenge. You're lucky to not have had any fires and things yet!

Wow, those fires sure were huge. You definitely got your wish. :P Are you not buying them a fire alarm? It's always mandatory in my households as it automatically calls the firefighters for you. I am glad no one died from the fire though, and way to go Bob for tackling it!
From the moment I fell down that rabbit hole I've been told what I must do and who I must be. I've been shrunk, stretched, scratched and stuffed into a teapot. I've been accused of being Alice, and of not being Alice, but this is my dream. I'll decide where it goes from here.

Hahaha yeah I know right I was like woah there, calm down! Didn't really expect it the day after I was bummed from having a "boring" house. According to the rules you're not allowed a fire alarm. "But due to the shoddiness of the asylum, no burglar alarm, no smoke detector and no sprinklers." So they're basically on their own in terms of that.  :P

Yeah for a Loser Sim I swear Bob is secretly Brave or something. He's never fainted at anything before.  :)

Ah that explains it, let's hope you don't get a burglar next. :P

I'm really liking Bob. :) He does seem to be pretty brave, he obviously knows that the rest of the asylum are depending on him during hard times.

Well, I swear I wasn't trying to jinx it when I said you were lucky that you hadn't had any fires! You sure got your fires...
I'm hesitant to say it but you're lucky no one died in those fires... When I played mine, there were casualties as soon as there were fires.

Yep! Fingers crossed.

Yeah, Bob is really good. He's always devoting his time to fixing things and generally trying to keep the Asylum running well, though half the time he has to go to work.

Haha yeah as they all say, if you say one thing, the opposite will occur.  ;)
Oh I'm pretty sure that there won't be any casualties soon, but you never know.

GENERAL UPDATE:
I'm actually really close to finishing the challenge and the story will be completed along with that. I actually regret picking such an easy LTW to fulfil, but that's what the game chose so I guess the fates called it. I may write a sequel of Barry (Bob and River's child) doing another challenge which I might do in the future. Any challenge suggestions would be nice.

Or not, I'll do some other challenge and write about that also on my blog, so please stay tuned for that! I've been playing with Bob and Betty Newbie recently so I might do something with that. Who knows.  ;)

I can't believe you're close to finishing already! Whatever you decide to do next you can be sure I'll be reading :) something with Bob and River's child sounds interesting to me, kind of like a carry-on.

It's surprising how quick the Asylum challenge can be finished, isn't it? Mine was finished relatively fast, too, and I'm Bad at Games of all kinds. But good to hear that you'll be doing more!

It's actually a pretty short challenge, I thought it would take much much longer. Something may be in the works soon, but since school is going to start again soon (the end of my school holidays) it may take a little while. But please read when I eventually get around to it! :)
