There are a few more peaks for the upcoming set:
Quote
Look at the windows, they used to look new and shiny, now they're all boarded up

Even some of the artwork takes a darker tone between Now & Then
(The Now and Then refer to pictures in the new set (on the left) and in the old Mansions and Gardens set (on the right))

All of this looks absolutely gorgeous! I love the roof decorations especially the dormer windows.

As I suspected, it must be two venues/buildings.  What would be cool was if you could use the Handiness skill to 'repair' the windows and clean the cobwebs inside the house.  But I doubt they'll be adding that game play.

Some more news from SimGuruTatertot:

Hey Simmers!

We’ve got good news and bad news. Let’s get the bad news out of the way first.

Unfortunately the L Shaped Stairs ran into a rather large issue (bug) when used with the L-Shaped Stairs from the Dance Studio. We wanted to make sure we took the time to sort this problem out properly, so we will be pulling the new L-Shaped Stairs from this release. Don’t worry, I don’t think that’s the last we will see of them.

The good news is that as a replacement I was able to convince my boss to let us make an amazing new chandelier! The Hanging Bowl Crystal Chandelier is an ornate vintage chandelier that comes with an attachable chain so that you can hang it in a big open foyer! Keep an eye on this page for a sneak peak of this new chandelier coming soon!

So, the L-Shaped Stairs are gone, but will be getting a chandelier instead.

I'd rather have U shaped stairs anyway - now THAT would get a happy dance from me. <sigh>  Still, will be watching this space for more news as it comes in. :)

Aww, the l-shaped stairs seemed cool, but if the Store team is actually getting around to testing their content, I won't put up a fight because of it. ;) I like the chandeliers too.

I'm actually pretty excited about this.  The aged decor and build items, and probably the whole 'now' verson of the building, will work great as or for inspiration, of a build I have been wanting to do for a challenge I have long been wanting to work on.

They did confirm there would be two 'venues' for the set.  Basically a 'Then' and 'Now' as the pictures show above :)
