Hi all!
Currently, in my random attempt at an Immortal Dynasty I've picked up a Motive Mobile. I always seem to struggle with Motive Mobiles (they always get really glitchy for me). The Motive Mobile is pretty cheat-y in itself, so most of the time I just accept the bugs as quirks that balance out the awesome side-effects, but this one is particularly annoying. I usually play "pass the motive mobile" between my founder and her husband whenever they need it, but I've noticed that after one use it will get stuck in the inventory of the person it was last used by. At first I thought I would click out of the inventory and see if that fixed it. It didn't. I tried resetting that Sim. That didn't work. I tried having her just drive some place and see if that would fix it and that's where I found the problem. When my Sim got in the car, I canceled the driving interaction, she stepped out and suddenly the car was just sitting there on the street. I could interact with it (with things like "Go Home" when I click on it). I decided to see if actually completing a destination on it will cause it to return to the inventory but no luck.
The motive mobile seems to dislike being moved a lot, as I've noticed a version of this will happen when switching from person to person. It will get stuck in both Sims inventories until something miraculously fixes it.
At this point and time in my dynasty - no one has enough happiness points to buy a second one (as I usually try to have enough motive mobiles for every Sim to have their own - this tends to prevent the bug that happens when it gets passed around) and seeing as they only have one I really hate to have to delete it when it gets really stuck (as in, worse than it already is).
I've noticed the only way to get the Motive Mobile to reset is by exiting the game and re-entering it. I mean, that works and that's great, but it's a little time consuming to load everything up every time I want to use the motive mobile.
Any other suggestions would be great.
