How to make a pattern a tattoo?

Hello.

I make my Sims like my RL family. My husband has a tattoo of a tryzub (Ukrainian trident) and I want to have a Sim with that tattoo. I know how to create it as a pattern with the Sims 3 Create a Pattern Tool and export it to the game.

How do I get it added to the tattoo list?

The Create a Pattern tool isn't for making tattoos.
To add tattoos to the game you'll need a mod like Tattooinator. There's a tutorial for using it here.

Or another way is a little more involved but you can get a tutorial here.
