Play Style: Cheats or no Cheats?

I cheat to recreate real life situations, or to fix glitches, as well as making sure my babies/toddlers aren't such a handful. However, I'm going to have my Sims work their way up to the career level, and their Lifetime Wishes.

I typically use cheats, even motherlode, just because I'd rather concentrate on meeting other sims and building relationships with them than worrying constantly about money. That's too much like real life for me! I also use them to force a baby to sleep all the way through the night because I hate it when they turn into toddlers and they've rotated their sleep schedules so far that they're basically nocturnal. Every once in awhile I'll make a strict "no cheating" family, just to keep me on edge, but cheats are generally my friends!

Thanks! Ironic that it happened while I was talking about cheats... I hope that doesn't show anything about my character!

Heey since when have I been a full member? Still thought I was a noob  I only cheats sometimes, like If I marry someone but not like they're traits I'll use cheats to change them. And if I'm really low on money I'll do a few kachings. Oh yeah and I use the max  needs cheats a lot too. So I guess I use cheats a lot then.

I use cheats when I run into a Sim that's been cursed with the Loser trait. No Sim deserves to be a loser, and I don't think they should require a midlife crisis to get rid of that awful trait.

@Tommy: You just moved to Sr.Member. I moved on to Hero Status and got no congrats myself.

I rarely use cheats, and only to test something or learn something. I think they take away the reward of actually accomplishing something yourself.

Actually, for me cheating has done better and improved my Sims Lives. No Sim should have to have the MidLife Crisis LTR to get rid of the awful loser trait. That trait should be scrapped irregardless.

I'm most against the money cheats unless your trying to build a house, because I think that having free money defeats the purpose of having a career or having the sims do anything.

I only use building cheats and the odd testingcheatsenabled to "fix" my sims.

I don't use cheats. I even avoid ambrosia. I prefer to let my sims have a natural life cycle.

I never cheat. I only sometimes use moveobjects on and the testing cheats for the CAS.

I do use cheats but motherlode and for my vampires, I just don't think they should work
