Okay, for my Charlie Sheen story, I have to use the freeRealEstate cheat, because it's pointless for Charlie Sheen to have to live in a small budget home in the beginning, when he's already worked for his mansion, and his celebrity status.

I found a way to instantly make a vampire.

I'm the cheating princess. I have to give the Queen title to Esther because she's been on this forum longer, and is older than me.  ;D

I used to cheat all the time, but like some of you I started doing challenges and had to forgo the cheating.  I have to say I like playing more now.  It makes the game much more interesting.  I only cheat now to fix broken sims and, in non-challenge games I will occasionally use buydebug to get the martial arts and nectar making equipment.  Traveling just scares me too much with all the latest associated bugs.

I usually don't cheat. The only time I cheat, is when I need to do something fast (like super max a skill).

I am a suckup to motherlode, though.

I voted for "Depends" cause it depends on the situation.  I play a game in Bridgeport and I use restrictbuildbuyinbuildings to re-model apts.  When a sim first starts out I motherlode them just to get them halfway decent furniture.  It's too hard to keep their moods up with just the cheapie stuff,  but then they have to earn the money themselves to get nicer stuff.

Because of my sister,  ::) she taught me how to use TCE in LN to get the friends level up...it's all her fault. :D

Other than MOO I don't cheat as this would make the game extremely boring for me.

Bshag! Great to see you again!  :D

My Cheating has still stayed the same really as when I began this thread, I cheat in some games and then not at all in others. I guess it just depends on my mood, if I want to take time in a game I won't cheat if I want to steam ahead and accomplish something then I often cheat. If I used Motherlode then I often only use it once or 10 times.  :P

Only when building community lots or in the name of research. And "MOO" (moveobjects on), as bshag likes to call it. ;)

So that's what MOO stood for. I thought bshag was just getting in touch with their inner cow.
Ive only used cheats in the name of research too. (and MOO)

Why? Because it's mean?

Well yes, it's mean to let your Sim be a loser. It's one of those traits that aren't very nice. So if I play with the Hart Family or Gobias Koffi, that trait is replaced with something nicer, and more suited with their other four traits and overall personality, with the simple Shift+Click=Modify Traits for Active Sim.

Gobias gets Commitment Issues (because it works well with the Flirty and Childish traits), and ever since I installed Generations, Dorie gets Rebellious, because of her bio stating she's not always on the same page as everyone else.

I only cheat to fix bugs and for good pictures. I put a mysterious mister gnome on a waterslide using MOO just for the fabulous photo op.

Yay, I'm the Queen!  ;D Yeah, ever since I found the cheats, there has been very little non-cheating done by me. I absolutely adore my cheats!  ;D

I enjoy having one game where I can cheat. I try stuff out, learn how things work, stuff like that. It can be fun to cheat sometimes. Most of my games I don't cheat except to fix bugs and such. I always play with them on just in case. Although I just upgraded my whole computer and did a complete reinstall of my game and it runs much better now. I probably don't need to now.

I am a serial cheater, although I've started to limit myself to only something like three drags of the need bars per sim a day, or so, because I'm trying to practise for my Immortal Dynasty.

Okay, wet chair here...laughed too hard. :D  (Would've changed to "inner child" but we need the milk) :D

Sorry, I guess I'll have to start typing out stuff.  Totally off topic now...my bad. :P

I just changed my vote to yes I sometimes do it. I don't cheat in my dynasty but then in my stories I almost always have testingcheats on but usually I don't actually use it. And then I have a file where I travel and I do a lot of make needs static and teleporting in that one.

One cheat I'm a huge fan of though, that I've been using quite frequently, (Is this okay for the immortal dynasty?), is "Unlockoutfits ON" for different crazy styles of clothes.
