I cleared all of my data from sims off of my computer, and I installed it again and it seems to be working and I got triplets, I am so happy.  :D

Sorry if this has already been resolved, but I had been noticing this problem myself and I found a possible solution.

Is it possible it is your female sim's Adult birthday? I've noticed that if it is, that could be what is preventing the pregnancy, and as soon as she is aged up there is no problem at all.
