The cheat I'm talking about is make needs static. Ok, and another thing I keep forgetting is when it first came out, I didn't know what to do. I've been playing for over a year now, so maybe experience works for this too. I definitely need to try it again without the cheats. Aiwe, thanks for all the tips! Tomorrow when I play, I'll make a single sim and see if I can do it without cheats! Wish me luck guys!

No problem, I thought of another couple of things I do, even on single Sims I use prepare group meal, then put the rest in the fridge and assuming the fridge is good enough that's meals for the next several days, also it's useful to remember that even bad cooks can't burn autumn salad or peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches. The other thing I do, that probably borders on cheating but isn't actually a cheat is I 'hand of god' a lot of the housework, dragging and dropping dirty plates, laundry or old newspapers to the appropriate receptacles and putting group meals in the fridge for the Sim, it's not terribly realistic, but I suppose I just have to imagine that all my Sims have a little Mary Poppins in them somewhere. Also good luck.

Oh, my gosh, yes, yes, yes. If it's any consolation to you I do that in challenges all the time. I almost never buy dishwashers and drag all plates straight to the starting garbage can. I'm too much of a time saver freak.

Cool, maybe you will be the one who can answer this! How do you find time to keep their moods green AND level up skills, marry and start a family if you DON"T cheat?? When it first came out and before I found the cheats, I was frustrated and would hardly play because it seemed I was either making them eat, go to the bathroom, sleep etc or their needs would go red and I never had time to do anything! Since I found that cheat, I play at LEAST once a day. How do you do it? To The Goat, I normally hate following rules, the only exception was the grim challenge where I actually followed the rules to a T, surprising me cause normally I hate being told what to do lol.
Sorry I didn't reply sooner but most of what Aiwe said is also what I do. I don't like cheats. I also don't push my Sims which is probably why I finish near the bottom in all the challenges. Hehe! Oh well they are fun anyways. I don't like to make myself rules either I just play usually I have a goal for the Sim but most of the time that doesn't work out on my part to well. I am surprised that some of you follow your own rules. LOL I think I would break them since it wouldn't matter much. I love following Metro's rules though he is good with the challenges and I know once I accidentally broke a rule I was bummed and told him that I had done so but I still had fun playing. Usually I have a goal when I start but then something else happens and I think oh that would be fun too and so instead I go the other way. I think that is why I like the challenges so much. It is not how I normally play and then there are rules that have to be followed unlike rules made by myself that technically don't have to be. I don't know. I've rambled enough though. Good luck Esther! I would like to know how you like it without the cheats now?

Hi everyone! I'm Xavier NoCheat.

My friend Esther asked me to write you guys and let everyone know some things. First off, my name was Xavier NoCheat, but a couple days after I started playing, she took me down to city hall and changed it. My new name is Xavier Cheatsalil and she said she did that so I could get a treasure chest without traveling. She was afraid I'd catch a bug or something, but then she told me collect some bugs at the junkyard, go figure!  ;D

I spent most of my days alternating between home and the junkyard. I asked her where she got such a big one, she said Twinbrook, I don't know where that is. She kept grumbling alot, something about wishing she could teleport, whatever that means! I was almost always elated, I had a weird schedule, but I got to level 10 of Sculpting, Level 5 of Cooking and Level 1 of Handiness. She said next time her and I play, I will never need to sleep or eat again. I don't know what that means, but it sounds fun! She wanted me to let all of you know, she doesn't like not cheating, whatever that means. She said you would know! Well, she promised after I wrote this, that she would go to the main menu, put some code in and then she would come back and she would change my name AGAIN! Well, I will talk to you all later!

Sincerely, Xavier Cheatsalil

@Esther1981 that was great! Had a really good laugh at the story, thank you.  Good try!  I have never cheated until recently, using only moveObjects.  I have no idea how you would never make him eat or sleep, and teleporting?  Those are awesome cheats, I can see why it would be hard to stop using them.  Once again, good job trying.  (still smiling from your story)

@ Mtglady: How did you ever guess?  ;D

@ Momofmany: Yes I did. I didn't have the same issues as before so experience must have something to do with it, but I still didn't like it!

@ Gerrr00: Thanks! It's called make needs static to make him stop eating and sleeping and it's when you shift+click the ground and teleport! I'm glad you enjoyed my story! I was going to just say I didn't like it, but so many people are telling it through the eyes of their sims so I thought I'd take a shot at it!
