Base-Game Barbie Immortal Dynasty: Ch. 5- April 24, 2014

Like so many other simmers, I have everything for Sims 3, including about 95% of store content.  This turns into being a big pain in the butt every time your computer dies, and has to be  put back to factory.  Six months ago, I got a new motherboard for my desktop, and when I got it back from the computer guy, my machine kept saying that Windows wasn’t genuine.  I just left my desktop alone and simmed from my laptop.  That is until last week, when my hubby decided he would fix the desktop.
Anyways, to make a long story short…I decided to only install the Base game of Sims 3, and the following “Store Content”:  Riverview and the Bohemian Garden Set.  (and the Bakery set...couldn't resist!)  My goal:  Complete an Immortal Dynasty without all the little things installed that make life easier.

Thanks, Trip...oh that's a con I didn't think about...ugly clothes and hair.  Billy has turned down kisses from my sims before (he's also eagerly accepted them, so you never know).

Good luck doing an immortal dynasty with just the base game. I managed one with base game and ambitions but just base game sounds scary.

Thanks, ratchie!  I'm beginning to wonder if I am missing something because everyone is saying how hard it's going to be.   I'm honestly just worried about the guitar challenge. 

I should be able to post the next chapter later on tonight.  I just want to play through Skippers toddler years first.

I was thinking hard because you are limited to what skills you can do to supermax and there is obviously less lifetime happiness rewards to choose from for your unique rewards.

I'm more upset about not having "No Bills Ever", but there are like 32 or 34 rewards in the base game, and I only need 24.  I haven't strategized these, but I see a bunch of stupid rewards going to my heirs.
