Age Jump
« on: March 29, 2014, 08:48:26 AM »
I took my Sim to the Salon to get a "new doo" - and after I was done I had noticed that her age went from having 38 days left back to 77??? How the heck does that happen and why? I was happy that she was aging up in 38 days - is there any way to re-adjust this, or should I just have her birthday when the days go down to where it should have been when she aged up? Grrrrrr!!!!  >:(

That's a known bug with the Salon. Using it re-sets the age of the Sim that uses it. It's done that since it was added to the game, I believe. I don't know of a way to manually readjust her age, but if it bothers you enough (and I know it bothers me) you can just use the birthday cake on the day she should've aged up.

That's crazy. You'd think they would have fixed that since it's been an issue all along. Ah well, I will just remember to age her up when she's supposed to age up, I guess. There is not much else I can do LOL
