Thank you, Jude.  Unfortunately we're at the boring part of a dynasty.  Everybody working and not much happening.  Ho hummm.

Just to catch up before I crash for the night.  Summer is still just an adult.  She has maxed piano and super maxed guitar and achieved her LTW.  Her Black Ops are:

Schoolyard Chums
Make Honor Role
Play for Fundraiser
Write a Novel
Clean Bug Cage
Floating in the Sea

She hasn't left much for Christmas or others to achieve young for sure.

Her BFs are:  Jude Thyme, (spouse), Christmas Thyme (daughter heir), Barbie Roberts, Mara Saxer, Lurch Adams and James Douglas.  If some of these names are familiar it's because I got rid of several townies and added tons of forum "stars".  I don't play them but they sure make great friends and it's fun interacting with "family".  The only friend I'm concerned about is Mara Saxer as she's an elder and Summer still has a long time before she ages.  It's all that's holding her back from ambrosia and immortality at this point.

She owns Cameron's Rest, (venue) and Wilsonoff Theatre, (building).

Her unique LTR are Fireproof Homestead, Next Big Thing, and Discount Diner.  She's a workaholic so getting her to max and super max was not a huge deal, although those playing ten times at parties and venues was a pain.

Meanwhile, Christmas has been busy, busy, busy.  She has maxed writing and working on Supermaxing it.  Since her LTW is to be a World Famous Author this is a good thing.  It's hard to keep her happily doing stuff.  She is a very driven little girl and wants to do everything.  She's met several children at school and is working on turning them into friends and hopefully BFs.  I bought those tab things but no clue as to how to really use them.

We are slowly but surely trying to whittle down the garden so it only bears nectar fruits but it's still enormous.  I've lost count of money trees and there currently is over 600 life fruits in the frig!
Everyone wants to travel and of course, they all want a different destination.  I think it will be France since Summer has an op for there, not that she needs it.  It's been a long day.  At this stage it goes really slow until the next romance and drama.  Maybe they should throw a party or two?

'Night all.

"Quiet you guys!  Listen up!"

"Pat attention!  The situation is getting critical!  We have some real issues to deal with here and I need you all to get with the program and don't whine to me about how late it is!  We're all tired and under a lot of stress here so let's just deal with it.  Anyone got any reports?"

*raises hand and grins toothy grin*  "Yessss.  Ve komrades haf been vatching der hoomans in ter garten.  Dey are ruink der plantzz!  Dey are killingk dem!  Ve must act ant ve must act now!  My bootiful plasma frootz are gone!  All gone!  Vat vill I eat now?  Dey haf even put all der bear avay vhere I can't turn dem dark!"

*loud buzzing, grumbling, chatter*

"Ok, ok, Svetlana.  Ve... I mean we, hear you and we'll look into it.  Anyone else have a report?  Tut?"

"Uh, yeah man.  I did my "walk like an Egyptian" bit but I don't think it fooled them.  Those humans are pretty tricky.  I tried putting my mojo on the plants so they wouldn't mess with them but they still are at it."

"Ok, this is really serious.  If Tut's mojo had little or no effect I'm getting really worried.  Whatever happened to the Stinky Refrigerator Ploy?  Bofur?  Bofur?  Anyone know where Bofur is?  Yes, Bombur?"

"It's ok chief!  Bofur is on reconnaisance duty behind the lines listening in on that outrageous lingo they speak.  You'd think they'd learn decent gnomish!  Anyway, he's incognito right now.  As for the Stinky Frig, well we did it just like you said.  Made the food rot and the old lady cleaned out the frig except thanks to our spell the stink remains and is still pouring out the door!  Check out the picture!"

Bofur recon:

Stinky Fridge Ploy:

"What about the nightwatch?  Anyone got a report?"

"I do and I'm darned mad, dagnabbit!  Oh, that's my name by the way, Dagnabbit.  I was sound asleep down in headquarters when this huge, blonde human pops in, grabs me and drags me up to the surface!  I just hope he didn't overhear any of our plans!  He has this infernal, noisy machine that digs down as far as we can go and then he pops in through a hole like some durned rabbit!  Drug up poor Tinker Tom as well.  Thankfully he doesn't recognize just what it is Tink is holding up over his head!"

Dagnabbit and Tinker Tom:

"Well, I think that's about enough trouble for one night.   Let's let Chien Po lead us all in some meditation.  We'll deal with the rest tomorrow after we've all had a chance to think.  Chien Po?"

*meeting breaks up with many poofs and grumbles*

Night all!

Thank you, lovesims!  I didn't know I could do that.  It was just amusing to me to see the fridge pouring out green vapors so I thought I'd work it in.

"Does this ever get any better?"

"Nope.  Don't complain.  It's perfect ambrosia and you know it.  We grew the ingredients ourselves including the deathfish in our pond.  It tastes just as it should."

"Well, I guess it will never be my favorite food no matter what.  This dynasty stuff will end won't it?"

"Pretty sure it will.  Writer gets pretty annoyed sometimes.  PC problems.  Too slow."

"Well, with all she asks of us she better not complain!"

*I heard that!*

*Writer here.  Just so you know things are moving along.  Slowly, but surely.  Very slowly.  Summer popped a wish to go to France to deliver a painting so off they all went.  So far no delivering of painting has been made but the family is really happy to see their great vacation home again, even if they did have to buy it all over.  I'll update on the trip soon.  Right now they are thinking how great it would be if there were some nightlife in France and trying to get over being bored at waiting for Summer to age up.  Here's how the days went before the trip."

Summer was really worried about getting her six BFs.  Everywhere she went to try to chat folks up someone kept interrupting for autographs.  The price of fame!

Justin has found a new hobby and he's pretty good at it too.  Broke all kinds of records.  He got so involved in golf we had to take the practice green away for awhile!

He's become quite the man about town.  I'm a bit worried about how much he enjoys gambling.  I have to admit though, that new casino sure is fun.

You're a wild man, Justin!

He just had way too much fun on that thing.  Next time, fast speed.  Muwahahahaha.

We try really hard to not spoil Christmas.  Right?  Riiiiight.....

How many kids you know have their own giant gumball machine?  After she had her gum, she looked over and there were Mom and Dad.  Euuuuwwww.  Get a room!

So they did......

Looks like it's time for bed.  'Night all.

*Sleep well, little angel?*

Mmmph.  Mmmm.  Yeah.  Had good dreams.  Thanks, Writer.

*You're welcome, Princess.  Now, off to school.  Mummy has some big decisions to make today.*

M,kay.

Dear Diary,  Summer here, but you know that don't you?  There has been a lot on my mind lately.  I'm already at the top of my career as a Music Composer, maxed out piano, supermaxed my guitar playing, got lots of best friends and own businesses, yet I'm not satisfied with my life.  I need a change.  I need something that is going to make my life worthwhile.  I've filled all the requirements the "dynasty" required of me but I'm still very young.  Far too young for that special dish mom has told me about.

I kind of see our family drifting apart.  All poor Jude does is work in Nana's garden.  He's determined to grow all perfect rare grapes and become a master nectar maker, but what's the point?  We rarely see each other anymore.  It's a quick whoo hoo and off to the symphony for me and off to the garden for him.  He says he's not lonely.  All those cute little guys chatting around him and all.  I see it differently.  Dad and I barely speak either, and once we were so close.  As for Christmas, I doubt she even knows I'm her mom anymore.  Last night we adults all went off to the casino to play and there she was, home alone again.  It was a lot of fun though!  Some of the paparazzi shared their pictures of us.

"Card, Sir?"

Dad couldn't decide whether to hold what he had or take another hit.

Nana and I had the same decisions to make.  Who knew having fun at cards could be such work?

Jude made the right decision for sure!  He sure had a lucky streak going.

I was delighted for him.  After all, he's my man!

Dad, on the other hand, was not so pleased.  I think he was rather a poor sport about it.

Remember the guy in the red swim suit?  Well, as usual MY play was interrupted for still another autograph.  Will it never stop?  He's a nice guy though.  Names Jinn I think.

Nana and Jude raked in their winnings but it was all over for me.  I couldn't bear to see what it was doing to Dad and the fans were starting to get on my nerves.  I got a late night call from the Johnson kid, Scooter his name is, in a panic with needing help for a test he had the next day.  So off I went to tutor him.  He's really not the rebel he looks to be but is quite a nice kid.  He and his family are living with the Pere-Noel family.  Really cool house if you are into permanent Christmas.

The next day I decided it was time to have a heart to heart with Dad.  Got him to play a double video game with me just so I could pin him down long enough to share some of my concerns.  First of I told him I was thinking of more kids.  He made me think long about that one, reminding me any other children I have I would have to watch die.

Not the best plan.  We are a selfish lot as it is but not so cold hearted we deliberate set ourselves and any "spares" up for disaster.  Dad had some pretty wise words and some great ideas, and for once, I was ready to listen to him.  He reminded me how much I really love music and always have.  But is it enough?  Lately the answer is no.

I thought his next idea was brilliant!

He asked if I had ever considered going further with music?  I've always had a pretty good singing voice and I'm fairly athletic.  Had I considered a singing career or maybe being an acrobat or magician?  "Get out there on the stage and show my stuff", he said.  I liked it!  But, it's something I'd have to think about long and hard.  At least working through these issues had brought us closer together again.  We decided we'd take a vacation trip to France and just enjoy one another for a bit, but first we all got together for a jam session and once more, we formed our family band, the Riverview Reavers.

So, we're off to France.  See you in a few days!

Thank you Jude.  I totally understand about the name.  My real name is Dale and I got so tired of being called Mr. and hearing men with that name I changed it!

Good for you! I love the name, Joria. My "real" name is Judy but I haven't been called that since my 20s. Only my 5 remaining friends from high school remember it...and still use it.

Dear Diary,  Well, here we are in France.  Ahhhhh, it seems so good to be away from all the hustle and bustle of the renewed Riverview!  It is so beautiful and peaceful here, and I know we're going to have a great time and just catch up on being "family" again.  Of course, the place needed a few touch ups after being so long away but that was easily taken care of.  I did say I was furious at having to purchase it all over again!  It was worth it though.

Everyone immediately began having fun.  Our gyroscope master, Justin, had the best fun of all.  One of these days I'm going to crank that thing up to fast speed and see how much he smiles then!

Oh, yeah!  You da man!

It was really necessary to let Christmas just be a kid!  She had worked so hard on her writing she had maxed it and achieved her LTW of being a Famous Author!  She has plenty of time left to supermax it and with Logic maxed as well she is well on her way to becoming immortal and not yet even a teen!  We're really going to have to watch her carefully during the teen years so she doesn't do too much.  She always wants to learn and do everything.

Here's some home photos of her:

She ate three gum balls in a row and got sick to her tummy for it!

She loved how many butterflies there were in France and brought home quite a large collection.

Christmas and Summer had been drifting apart back home.  Summer was always so busy with work in the evenings and Christmas hardly ever saw her.  I have to wonder if I did not raise my daughter right, that she should be so distant to hers.  At least they had some time for mother daughter bonding, and Summer could show Christmas how proud she was of her.

One thing I was annoyed at was the way Justin was always teasing and horsing around with Christmas.  I know he adores her and maybe this is just his way of seeing she doesn't get too spoiled.

Christmas gave as good as she got!

But Justin was rather a bully about this pillow fight and Mom, Summer was about to put a stop to it.

Justin then proceeded to explain to her that working out would make her stronger and tougher and soon she'd be besting HIM at pillow fights.  So I guess it really was an object lesson for her and no harm done.  She really loves and respects her grandfather.

What happened after was not as much fun for her, but she toughed it out and later on forgave him.

At first she was having none of it, and was ready to "take him on"!

She relented and let him have his "fun".  Fun for whom?

"That HURT you big bully!"

Christmas stormed off, and I suspect there will be some pranking happening after this.  Justin, beware the wrath of a pinched cheek girl!

"Gee, did I go too far?"  DUH!

So off he toddled to cosset himself with our new ice cream maker.  I think THAT item is going to have to be closely guarded!

Jude spent a lot of time upgrading the sprinklers and doing general chores.  Still, he managed to take some time for himself and some special fun.  Don't quit your day job, Jude!

Do they ever get better at this?  Ah well, it surely is harmless fun.

Back home some decisions have to be made, but I'll tell you all about that later.  Bye, Dear Diary.

*Writer's note:  Thank you to all you who have been reading and posting.  It keeps me going.*
