My Sims age each time I go to the future
« on: March 26, 2014, 01:51:35 PM »
I've installed Into the future two days ago, and I discovered that my sim and her son 'lost' three days in the aging bar, after they came back to the present. How can I solve this problem? Someone got the same issue?

P.s. A week ago, more or less, in the same save I adopted a dog, that immediately aged from adult to elder. Maybe I have some problems not related to Into the future?

Sorry if you notice any mistake, English isn't my native language

I'm not sure about the aging issue of the sim and son (I uninstalled ITF until I finish my 4x4 Dynasty).

As for the pet, it's a known glitch. People (including me) have even adopted kittens/puppies/foals that arrive as adults, and same day, age to elder. Something about the coding that says, "time for a birthday!" and so they age up on the way over.

In your case, if the dog was showing as an adult when you adopted, it's possible that it was simply that dog's time to age up.

Yes, I adopted it as a puppy, he arrived adult and than he aged. I didn't know about this glitch so thank you  :)

How long was your Sim and their son in the future? If it was 3 days that's because aging doesn't stop in the future. :)

Mh, I'm pretty sure they stayed there less than two days, in different times  :-\

When you say your Sims "lost" three days, do you mean they were older when they returned to the present or younger?  If they returned to the present older than when they left, that's because Sims continue to age when they are in the future.  It's not like World Adventures where Sims do not age while they are away.
