Having to Remarry over and over

They finally stayed married and I have since moved on to playing with the family of one of their daughters as the main household.
Where to do I find how to keep from the married couple being asked out for dates?  It is driving me crazy.  Phone rings everyday sometimes three times with date requests.  Can't get rid of their smart phone or I would have done that. LOL
I like the idea of seeding a town first.  My first married couple ended up with 7 kids and every other house in my town now has that last name. ROFL  Kinda hard to date when everyone is related to each other.  I had to make the son of the current household marry his imaginary friend.

In the area of getting phone calls asking for dates, there is no way to stop it, sorry.

I hate it; I think it fits into the top 10 of good idea but goofed on the execution aspects.  Along with story progression, trying to fix one problem created other problems.

Use a computer and make sure you don't have a dating profile listed.  Sometimes, if you create the dating profile and then delete it, it help stop a lot of that.

It is a good suggestion, but sometimes it doesn't work, have had a few families where it worked for a while, then the calls started back up. 

Most of my sims are too involved in family life to be out and about so socializing doesn't happen as often as it should.  When they did go out and meet someone the calls started back up.  Maybe a fluke for a while, it has been quite a bit of time since I tried it.

My Sims hardly socialize with other Sims, so I never used to get them, and suddenly when I was playing a charismatic sim I started getting one every hour! So obnoxious!
Anyways, back on topic, I wish there was a way to turn it off, or even tune it would be even better.

I just turn off the ringers on all my sim phones and then ignore the messages.  Actually, I do that in real life, too!!
