Apartment question:

I put a high rise apartment from late night into the midnight falls town and it only lets me have one family living there. I thought apartments could have up to four families living in them? Maybe I don't know how to add a second family? Some help would be appreciated.

Having multiple families in one apartment building was never a native option in TS3. I know of a mod on Mod the Sims that can set up a system for multiple families in one apartment building, but if you're referring to that, then my knowledge is unfortunately quite limited.
