Total Score: 27,647 * 1.23 = 34,005.81

I counted all totals while paused at Week 4, Day 7, 11:45 p.m. (yes that matters but I won't tell you why LOL).

*Edited out the note about Buy Mode since that's not what matters. What matters is that you pause before midnight and count the values either by grabbing your paintings and dragging them to the side a little ways to see the value in your inventory sales box or you can use Buy Mode like I did.

I'm about half way done, and I must say, I enjoy not completing any opportunities. That takes away an element of luck. As much trouble as there has been with rule reading, you may want to emphasize "no opportunities".

Micki Angelo has painted her town completing 27 portraits with a top 10 totaling 38,239 (3,499+3,353+4,282+4,226+4,101+3,396+4,102+4,498+3,271+3,511).
38,239 x 1.27 = 48,563. Someone less bleary-eyed will check my math, right?

Well, I've actually finished this one ... early. YAY!

Anyway, Lisa Da Vinci managed to paint portraits of 24 of the sims of Sunset Valley.

Her top 10 values were (3484, 3946, 4554, 3298, 4622, 5284, 5230, 5204, 3654, 4005) which add to 43281, unless my maths is off (and I don't think it is). multiplying 1.24 by 43281 gives me 53668.44 which of course becomes 53668.

I really enjoyed that challenge, thanks to the team for it and to MarianT for proposing it!

I'm not sure it's necessary to provide all 10 prices of the paintings, but I will if anyone wants to check my math.

Vanna Gogh's top ten came to 47,240, and she painted 37 different sims. 47,240 x 1.37 = 64,718.

Well my sim managed 28 and a half portraits when time ran out, it's times like this I wish it didn't take so long to do everything, sim days are so short!

Top ten value = 44,406

28 Portraits = 1.28

Total Score 44406 x 1.28 = 56839

Was a fun challenge, thanks for suggesting it Marian, I Look forward to hearing how you managed 37 portraits when this is over.

I'm finding this a challenge,(but its because I always cheat when playing my normal game) but I am determined to finish,even if my score is
a bit rubbish lol

And my poor Sim Amy was bleary eyed with no energy more often than I ever subject my beloved Sims to usually!

Then again, I really was in the mood to kick back and relax so that's probably part of it.  And I am sure Amy enjoyed that I wasn't a horrible slave driver, so at least I have that. 

Jagid I have removed some parts of your post as it could be potential strategy.

The way I said it before was more indirect, less accusatory, and overall more PC. Oh well.
