What are spawners and what do they look like?

I have had Island Paradise for a few months now and hadn't realized I was missing something until I tried to complete the Own All Uncharted Islands life quest. I have no idea about anything to do do with spawners. Any help out there?

I'm not sure what that wish has to do with spawners.

Spawners are the part of the game that create things like seeds, bugs, flowers, animals, shells, fish. You can't see them in the game, only in edit mode when using the buyDebug cheat.
