Chapter 5: The New Visitor
Veronica wasn't sad at all to leave her old flame behind. She also wasn't surprised she had a small package to carry around for a little while either.
"More welcome little bundles of chaos to unleash on the townies. "
In addition to her new bundle of joy Veronica decided to hire a handy man/landscaper. She was tired of cleaning up the yard during the fall and paving the way through snow to the sidewalk in winter. She could also do with some new flowers by the front walk.
She had a nice surprise coming to meet him when he arrived. He was already at work.
"*whistles* wooo oooo! It must be hot out here"
Giddy excitement isn't usually her style but this hunk of a man had her feeling very unlike herself. She was nervous! "*thinking* Gosh I think I'm sweating. This man is gorgeous!"
Welcome to the family Seneca Crane!
(The name Seneca was actually generated funnily enough by the game, I added Crane for giggles cuz I love that movie. Also his appearance was a funny coincidence because I did that first before the name. He's much more rugged.
After meeting her new household charge Veronicas head wasn't in quite the right place. She needed to do something to set her mind at ease.
She had just the thing. That pesky paparazzi who was always haning around sending her love letters. He would do nicely.
"Hmmm I have a nice touch, he's a very good toad color."
Maybe he'll learn before coming back to spy again.
Meanwhile Seneca was utilizing his bedroom accommodations very nicely.
Sometimes I catch Veronica standing in his doorway. That is of course when she isn't in her sons study keeping an eye on him as she said she would. He seems to have it in his head that he wants to be an architect. She's noticed he hasn't touched his invention table in days. He just pours over his design table muttering about measurements and fabric choices. He ignores her when she's there. He knows she's sizing him up and he wont give her that satisfaction. As soon as he can support himself he's out of there. No heir competition for him. He had the bug but realized nothing good could come from it. Ahhhh his goodly nature rears its angelic head...
His mom tries to ignore it. She wants some competition from her kids.
A quick skip over to the garden a day later and here she goes again!
For some reason the game is unkind to me. She must have some hidden fertility treatment because she keeps having twins, a boy and a girl. Normally I would dream of this trait but she has such bigger plans! Ahhh such is life.
Now we welcome Vayne and Lucia!
