Can you play sims 3 without Internet

Is it possible to play sims 3 without any connection to the Internet?

 I want to take my laptop on holiday & play but we don't have any Internet in our holiday home. When I start my game up it opens origin & I have to open it via that, is there a short cut without Internet use please?

Yes, in fact, it's required for competing in some challenges. I rarely log on.

When the launcher pops up, there is an option to log off. Also I think before you select a particular file to play. I'm trying to remember because, as I said, I rarely play logged on and have it set to not automatically log on. I think my game runs more smoothly without the internet connection.

Run the game as normal while offline. Origin will pop up and say there's no internet connection available and give you a login box. Type in your usual Origin account credentials and you will log in with Offline mode. Sims 3 will continue to load as normal.

Try testing this tip out before you leave on holiday. It should work though. But you want to make sure

Brilliant, thanks everyone. I've tried it and it worked, phew. Thought I'd be going away on holiday & not be able to play for 2 weeks, that would be awful lol.
