Aaw, I eventually ended up voting for Joslynn and Gavin because I wanted to see them be fabulous acrobats... but both pairs are interesting. And at least we did get to see some acrobatics - they're fabulous :D

Gavin giving that smoldering look makes me regret my choice of Ransom... It was really between the Dojo boys for me! Either way, I'm excited to see what's going on next, and I'm sorry that you had a bit of problems with the polls. Hopefully next time will go smoother.

Triplets! Well, I'm not sure will they be educated well, with such sparkly and wild parents, but at least their parent certainly love each other.

Oh, I'm just drooling over all your fancy store venues and beautifully thought-out building. The dates the teens went on were an absolute pleasure to the eyes. Which certainly didn't make the voting any easier, aargh!  :P

Thanks! I've had a ton of fun building venues for Midnight Hollow--and a ton of fun combining the Complete a Set discount with weekly sales/daily deals. Of course, some of the new ones, like the bakery, I just bought as they came out--but the bakery was just too cute to resist! Anyway, the teens made for great playtesters as I built the lots, and it gave them somewhere fun to go for dates.

Very excited for the Gavin and Jos nooboo!  That's my ship.  I'm still sailing it  ;=)

Oh, Pippin!  ::) The reminds me--I gotta add the pictures of their nooboos too.

Yay! To be honest, I don't remember who I voted for...but I'm glad that Ransom & Isabelle won! Isabelle aged up beautifully.

She really did! I love Isabelle's combination of features. She's got her mom's nose, but dad's eyes and lips. I think it's a lovely mix.

Woohoo!  I'm so happy!  So happy that Ransom and Isabelle won!  I loved the way you sent Gavin and Joslynn off though.  Their acrobatic outfits are awesome!

The outfits are just the ones the game gave them, which I thought were great! I didn't have to change a thing. It was a lot of fun to play with the acrobats; I'll have to do it again sometime soon.

Aaw, I eventually ended up voting for Joslynn and Gavin because I wanted to see them be fabulous acrobats... but both pairs are interesting. And at least we did get to see some acrobatics - they're fabulous :D

Well, I wanted to see some acrobatics, too. Hence the extra week in the household.  ;)

Oh, don't worry. Ransom grew up quite smoldering himself! I think you guys chose best. I've seen Ransom and Isabelle's nooboos, and they're wonderful.

Yessssss. Everything is as it should be in the Bloodstone legacy. Can't wait to see the plumbots! I don't have ITF...

This is my first time playing with plumbots! So far it's pretty neat.

Triplets! Well, I'm not sure will they be educated well, with such sparkly and wild parents, but at least their parent certainly love each other.

Well, they never really are--in inactive households. But that's alright. Just so long as their genetic material carries on!

Too late to the party to vote and yet my pick still came in tops! It must be fate lol  ;D Lovely legacy going here Rhoxi... Can't wait for more!

Welcome aboard! Thanks!

More than Machine

While the watcher waited a sim week hoping that Gavin and/or Joslynn would pop the wish to marry each other (which they never did), Ransom and Isabelle proved much more obliging. On day two of his young adulthood, Ransom threw up the wish to marry her, so he proposed at their favorite spot.

Ransom: "There's a wedding arch upstairs and a dress with your name on it. Are you in?"

She was! Isabelle threw herself into his arms with a passionate kiss. Unfortunately, some sims just can't stand to see other people happy, as this one townie so aptly illustrates.

Townie: (fuming) "Public displays of affection? This is an outrage!"

They married in a private ceremony upstairs, away from preying eyes and townie hissy-fits.

Shortly thereafter, this happened:

Followed by this:

But while our heirs were getting ready to welcome a new life into the household, Tris was mourning the loss of an old one.

Grim came for Joaquin late one evening, mere days after he finished maxing the culinary career.

Tris wasn't exactly getting younger herself, but she still had plenty of time. She spent much of those first few days just visiting with Joaquin's urn in the mausoleum and reminiscing.

While the rest of the household was consumed with thoughts of the life and death of organic creatures, Ransom was obsessed with the mechanical.

Could bolts and nuts become something more? Could he too create life?

He decided it was time to find out!

After carefully choosing a schematic and designing a few useful trait chips, Ransom created his first plumbot: Proteus.

Next he installed the trait chips, allowing Proteus to clean house, cook meals, repair broken objects, learn skills like any normal sim, and even baby-sit.

Okay, so maybe it wasn't life exactly. He didn't yet have the skill to give Proteus sentience, but it was certainly a marvelous contraption of metal and machine. At least, Ransom thought so.

Upstairs, someone seemed to disagree.

The moment Proteus stepped forth, the contractions hit Isabelle with a vengeance.

Their daughter Wendi was born--

--absent-minded, insane, and a technophobe in the making!

As promised, pics of how Gavin and Joslynn's kids turn out.

First one's a bit odd. Joslynn's features, I think, but with Gavin's rainbow skin.

This one's all Joslynn's--practically a clone of Joslynn/Tris/Connor. Beautiful, but I've played with these same features for the last few generations.

And finally, all Gavin's features (he makes a pretty girl). These are the Lau genes, which have passed down from Walter and from the original townie Annie Lau.

They're not bad, but I have to say I'm happy with the way the votes turned out. These kids got nothin' on Ransom and Isabelle's!  ;)

That townie was lovely.  Why am I not getting Midnight Hollow?
While I was shipping Jos and Gavin, I'm all sorts of excited to see how the lovely Wendi turns out.  And Proteus.  I don't have Into the Future, so I enjoy watching others use the features and living vicariously through them  :=)

And here I was thinking that I wouldn't be seeing any rainboos out of these two.  ::) Didn't even consider that Ransom could be on the yellow slider.

I think those pictures gave me heartburn.

I really, REALLY liked how the first one of Gavin and Joslynn's triplets looked, so if Wendi looks better than them, I'm really gonna faint...

If you say these kids are nothing compared to what's to come... I better be bracing myself then, cause those kids were gorgeous.

*Straps self in somewhere* ok, I'm ready.

I hope it will be tons of fun! I've never played with the technophobe trait before. She constantly has a negative -10 moodlet from being around Proteus! Haha!

LMBO  ;D A technophobe and plumbots  ;D I can't WAIT to see Wendi's first reactions!!!

Wait no more! Okay, well technically, she didn't gain the trait till childhood, but I'm writing her as if she already does.

That townie was lovely.  Why am I not getting Midnight Hollow?

I have no idea. Midnight Hollow is wonderful. I love it so, so hard. This also reminds me, I should show you guys some of the townies, like that lovely one. She's one of my favorites that I've seen so far.

And here I was thinking that I wouldn't be seeing any rainboos out of these two.  ::) Didn't even consider that Ransom could be on the yellow slider.

Oh right. I guess I failed to remind y'all about that. Walter, Ransom's dad, was on the yellow slider. There's several original townie families on that slider, usually the ones with names of Asian descent--Lau, Cho, Sung, etc.

I really, REALLY liked how the first one of Gavin and Joslynn's triplets looked, so if Wendi looks better than them, I'm really gonna faint...

I like Wendi's looks better, but that may just be me. Those first two kids of Gavin and Joslynn's are all Jos's features--which are all Tris's and Connor's. So he's basically a green Connor. They're great features, but I've played with them for three generations now. I'd prefer to get a mix of those and townie features. Plus the pink hair is just completely clashing with the green skin; I'd have to change that.

If you say these kids are nothing compared to what's to come... I better be bracing myself then, cause those kids were gorgeous.

*Straps self in somewhere* ok, I'm ready.

Excellent. No injuries here, please. Now that you are sufficiently braced: Wah-la! Toddler pics!
