I'm glad they turned out well. I always put the spouses in the game. That way I don't have to go through plastic surgery later. My faves are Latonia, who look nice with grey skin. I also like Cody and Dalma. Is it me, or do they have strange names?

Donald is my favorite one out of this bunch. They're all awesome, but his eyes and skin color's perfect match just makes him something more. On a side note, how did many of these townie descendant fellows turn into fairies? Did you turn them, or was it the work of a mod? Geez, I've tried to find a mod/setting of mod which handles supernatural turnings for basically an eternity.

I liked the way the genetics Panned out. It makes the kids good looking but not in a picture perfect sort of way. Also, OMG my little sister's name is Damaris.

Damaris is a lovely name. I like names that are bit more rare.

Quite the adorable crew!  Rosalie is my favorite.  Not that I have favorites, but if I did, it would be Rosalie  :=)

Rosalie is pretty cute, but not my personal favorite.  ;) I'd probably pick Tameka as a favorite.

So many lovely grey kids! What a way to update. ;)

Here's to hoping for more greyboos! And thanks, I'm glad this seems to be a fun update. I've been slow to post lately, I know.

Those are some lovely genetics!  All of them are beautiful/handsome.

I agree; they're a nice looking bunch in their own way.

Latonia is amazing! I want her mom to make more kids! A lot of them did get some odd names, but then this is Midnight Hollow--so I suppose it fits!

I created a few supernaturals at the beginning of the game using Master Control Cheats (click on sim --> intermediate ---> add occult status). Once you have a few supernaturals, you can get Story Progressions supernatural add ons (theres a couple, I think one for vamps/werewolves and another for fairies/witches). The fairy one tends to make a lot of fairies, because they visit toddlers and turn them into fairies. The vamp/werewolf one didn't turn the townies very often though. You can also change the immigration settings in Story Progression to give new townies a percent chance to be an occult.

Trouble Ahead

Samura aged up into a lovely teenager, piling on the dark eye shadow a little heavier than she normally would, but then, you only get to be a teen once right?

She even tried getting up to some teenage high-jinks. Partying late nights at the local dive bar.

Which, admittedly, wasn't as fun once Sasha grew up and left the household. Who else would she sing karaoke with?

Not to mention that Sasha had been her partner in crime when it came to rigging the local doorbells with the latest in innovative pranks.

She'd gotten in trouble, and Samura took her lumps well.

But the truth was, Samura had never been born to be a rebel. Her antics were really more out of a sense obligation--that she owed it to herself to at least try it all out once. At the end of the day, a warm mudbath was really more her style, and she was ready to grow up again.

Tris, meanwhile, had her hands full of her own problems.

Not only was she suddenly in charge of raising a troublesome teenager, her love life was a bore.

The locals in Midnight Hollow sure had some funny notions about dating.

Tris: "This is your idea of a good time? Meeting you on an empty lot to watch you brood?"

Random Townie: "I know, so artistic, right?"

Tris: "Ugh. Beatniks."

Then one rainy afternoon it seemed like her luck had changed for the better. Earnest Lau-Poirot had asked her out on a date after a bit of online chatting.

He was handsome, no doubt, and Tris found herself a puddle of mush gazing into those gorgeous doe eyes of his.

There was just one problem: he was evil. No holds barred, evil. While neurotic Tris shuddered in fright because of the thunder, Earnest just threw up his hands and laughed with malicious glee.

Sasha did her best to "talk a little sense into her."

Sasha: "He's bad news, sis." She insisted, gritting her teeth and digging in a bit harder. "Just stay away, okay?"

Tris: "I know, but--ow! That really hurt!"

Still, it didn't seem like her advice had done any good. Tris kept visiting that bar, and soon it was starting to show.

*Gasp*  What did that evil man do to my Tris?!?!?  Lovely update.  Looking forward to the next one in which he proposes and pampers her thoroughly to make up for being a pig OR Samura destroys him thoroughly

Oh my!  I love Tris!  And I totally agree with Pip!  Option one or two really has to happen!  And seeing Samura as a teenager is awesome!  I really love her!

Personally, I'm rooting for option two.

Nope, Samura, you'll destroy nothing, not relationships at least, the Watcher wouldn't like that...

Or would she? That's a question only Rhoxi can answer. Personally, I'd like the admit-being-a-true-jerk-and-propose idea.

As a little aside, I've been working to make some fun venues in Midnight Hollow since I'm playing a legacy in it, including this one here. Samura tests out the venue and also reveals a little secret.

The buildings look excellent, of course, and I caught onto Samura's surprise. Heh.

So nice to see many updates in the story. I was inactive for a while and happy to read these updates. Samura looks very cool in teenage form. And good luck to Tris. Looking forward for next update.

Bar-Room Romance

Sasha ground her teeth together angrily. "You're pregnant?"

Tris blushed. Not out of shame, Sasha realized belatedly, but out of love. "It's not what you think!" Tris quickly exclaimed. "Or, at least, it's not who you think."

Tris: "The truth is, I have been seeing somebody down at the bar, but it's not Earnest."

Tris: "It's the bartender, Joaquin Dorsey."

Tris: "He's sweet--a total night owl, but a family man. We've decided to name the baby Isabelle, and we're getting married the second I can fit back into the dress!"

Okay, so maybe it wasn't the most romantic of stories--meeting at a bar, baby before the wedding--but their little family certainly made the two of them quite happy.

Isabelle was born, healthy and looking like her daddy.

Afterward, underneath the light of a full moon, they married at the newly renovated Lonely Literary Cafe.

They said their vows . . .

to the cheers of family and friends.

They celebrated both with cake . . .

and dancing, of course.

It was just in time, too, because Tris was already getting morning sickness from baby number two!

Baby number one looks like daddy?  Okay, guess we'll have to wait for an appropriate (read as:  beautiful like Tris) heiress  ;=)
Seriously, though, loved the update.  Nice clever twist with having the baby daddy be someone we didn't even realize was an option.  You trickster you!  Curious, though, does Samura approve of this new bloke who's moving into her house...?
