Yep, that's a really terrfying ghost matriarch ;).

Nice to see Samura having a new experience after all this time - and her expression at the end is wonderful.

I have a feeling Samura will not fare well with this. She seems not to have lost a thing from her fierce attitude, and being a cute child with everyone pinching her cheek and saying "Aw, you're a cute little angel, aren't you?" is surely going to make her boil with anger.

Connor reminds me of Sinjon. Oh Samura...she never ceases to crack me up! That is one awesome house!

...

I now see how you're shaking up the Samura aspect of the plot. Very good twist!  :D

Thanks! It took me quite a while to figure out how I wanted to handle bringing Samura back.

Oh. My. Gosh!  Samura finally gets the childhood she never had!  And Tris gets to be a nurturing big sister to a baby sister who is significantly older than she is...which would be odd in the real world, but makes perfect sense for Sims  ;=)

It seemed fitting. Samura needed to get to experience something new! Wait, sims is suppose to match reality?  :o I think we've gone far afield from that!

hahaha lil' Samura's face expression is priceless  =D

I had no idea she was such a cute kid! I never even tried to see what she would look like as one before now.

EEEEEEEEEEEE!  Oh that is EPIC!  I am just about jumping up and down, clapping when I saw Samura as a child!  I love it.  She is such a cute kid!

Hahaha, good! Glad you're enjoying the odd twist. Samura is adorable . . . in every life stage, apparently!

Oh how cute! I read your original Immortal Dynasty(shame the first part was lost) and seeing Samura, the founder, as a SCHOOL AGE CHILD was awesome! And the kimono, I have the kimono in my downloads!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hehe, thanks! I basically bought the Asian outfits just for the Dojos, because you know, they just needed them! Or at least, that's how I justified it.

I am loving this story!

Thank you!

Woah, what an exciting twist!

I really hope no one saw that coming. It took me weeks to think of it.

I have a feeling Samura will not fare well with this. She seems not to have lost a thing from her fierce attitude, and being a cute child with everyone pinching her cheek and saying "Aw, you're a cute little angel, aren't you?" is surely going to make her boil with anger.

Haha, yeah . . . I imagine someone getting quite nastily pranked for a cheek pinching. So far no one's tried it, though. Child Samura will have to be creative with her revenge.

Connor reminds me of Sinjon. Oh Samura...she never ceases to crack me up! That is one awesome house!

Connor is a pretty similar skin color, although he's on the pale rainbow where Sinjon was on the blue one. Also, they both have grey eyes, although Connor's are a lighter grey. So, I could see that. And thanks! I spent . . . at least a month working on that house, on and off. Hm, I should probably do a house tour soon!

WOW..... Just WOW I have been blown away (I grabbed my laptop though so I can still keep up :P) I want to talk to those Dojo descendants and not have to wait for those uploads now. I am so excited for more!!!!

Thanks! I can't wait to see a new batch of kids out of Samura (although she's got quite a bit of growing up to do first!). I paired her up with a generic clone-faced townie in her dynasty--a newbie move, which I later rued when I got sick of seeing that face--so I'm looking forward to seeing what her genes will do with a more interesting looking partner. Hang on to that laptop, because here comes some more!  :P

First Childhood

"You know," Samura pouted, "this wasn't exactly what I had in mind when I lent you my powers."

Tris just smirked. "What, you thought I was just going to bring you back fully-formed so you could torment my dad? No, this way is much better. Now you'll be like part of the family."

Samura: "You don't think he'll mind just taking in an extra child who appeared out of nowhere?"

Tris hesitated. "Frankly, I don't think he's going to notice much of what's going on around here. He's been pretty out of it since . . . since mom passed."

Samura paused. "Oh. I'm--I'm sorry."

Trish just shrugged. "Come on, you'll feel more like yourself once you pick out some new digs."

Samura stared at herself, wide-eyed, in the mirror.

"Someone's in love with her appearance," Tris teased, thinking her vain.

Samura considered doing something different with her hair, but in the end she decided that nothing else looked quite right. After a few hundred years with the same style, she couldn't seem to recognize herself with any other.

She straightened out her outfit, smoothing out imagined wrinkles and picking a spec of lint off her shoulder. Apparently, she was still neat. Old habits die hard, it seems.

Which was exactly why her new childhood thrilled her. Who would've thought she'd experience something so new after so many years?

After all, she'd never been a child before. That was just the way it was with dynasty founders.

She suddenly wondered what other things she could experience, now that she didn't have to worry about all those dynasty rules.

It was liberating.

Tris just shook her head in bemusement. Was this the red dragon she'd been so terrified by in her dreams?

But while the others took to their beds at night, Samura stayed awake.

Rocking. Plotting.

LOL!  I love that last screenshot.  I'm just waiting for her to start rubbing her hands together, or steepling them in front of her face with this wicked little grin XD

Uh-Oh Samura is on the loose lock your door Connor, Unless You want a what? seven-year-old red-skinned kid pranking everything you own  :P. Also  I'm curious, do you have an updating schedule? sure I have just about nothing to do anymore but I still don't want to stalk this thread when nothing is going to be updated for a few days when I can be working on my current household.

The red dragon bit was rather clever.  I also really like how you offered Samura's perspective of being so entranced by finding something new and fascinating after all these years of immortality.  Cleverly conceived and excellently written.  Wonderful stuff!

It's weird to see Samura engaged in childish games, but she's just so cute! I love her as the red dragon.

Am I the only person screwed up enough to be thinking of Francis Dolarhyde and all that stuff in response to the whole "red dragon" thing?

Oh please do a house tour! A never thought I would see the day where Samura was not in over her head with dynasty requirements. She surely deserves this childhood!  ;D

Aw, come on! Samura's not evil. She's far to ethical and consciousness for all that. Can we settle for a mischievous grin and a wink?

Uh-Oh Samura is on the loose lock your door Connor, Unless You want a what? seven-year-old red-skinned kid pranking everything you own  :P. Also  I'm curious, do you have an updating schedule? sure I have just about nothing to do anymore but I still don't want to stalk this thread when nothing is going to be updated for a few days when I can be working on my current household.

Unfortunately, I have no updating schedule. Life right now is fairly hectic, so it's hit or miss as to updating and playing time. If you bookmark the story, though, you can tell when I've updated as I'll change the date in the title.

The red dragon bit was rather clever.  I also really like how you offered Samura's perspective of being so entranced by finding something new and fascinating after all these years of immortality.  Cleverly conceived and excellently written.  Wonderful stuff!

Thanks! The red dragon bit was lucky. I wanted to get some cute shots of her playing and when I saw the red t-rex option I was all: !!!!! She made the most hilarious little growls, too.

It's weird to see Samura engaged in childish games, but she's just so cute! I love her as the red dragon.

Hehe, it is kinda weird, isn't it? I got so used to her being a little old lady for so long. She also loves playing in the sandbox, throwing handfuls of sand everywhere and squealing. It's absolutely adorable.

Am I the only person screwed up enough to be thinking of Francis Dolarhyde and all that stuff in response to the whole "red dragon" thing?

Erm--yes?  ;) I had to look up this reference to understand it.

Oh please do a house tour! A never thought I would see the day where Samura was not in over her head with dynasty requirements. She surely deserves this childhood!  ;D

I will! I spent ages in the house, so I should show it off. I'll post one soon--and upload the house too in case people want to play in it. Just think, now Samura can learn any skill, or be young for ages, or, well, anything!
