Birth was hard. I didn't expect it to be so painful, and I'm not sure I want another kid anymore.

I gave birth to a beautiful boy named Citrino.
Nooboo!

His favorite color was, of course, yellow. I can already tell that he's going to be as friendly as I am, and I can also tell that he likes to be outside more than in.
We don't have enough money for a nursery, so we just built a couple of nice cribs. Oh well, at least they're high quality. Our house has gotten a little bigger now.

I also received an offer from the diner in town asking me if I want a job there. I accepted because we need money and I need to max out a job. I have a level 3 cooking skill, which should keep me in excellent for a few days.
Gobias changed his mind about his LTW. Getting to level five in 3 more jobs in two weeks was just too much, so he's going to Become a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder. He's spending all his time in the garden, but he's also had a lot of things to repair. Our stuff isn't high quality and it keeps breaking.

Honestly, every time I play Gobias I change his LTW. I can definitely see how, in an immortal dynasty, having your gardener change jobs like that would be challenging to manage.

Congrats on the nooboo! Will there be a Leighton/Monika nooboo coming soon as well, I wonder...? ;)

Well, no. Leighton has major woohoo issues. As in, his full relationship bar with Monika doesn't help.  :(
We'll see, but I somehow think no.

This morning, I realized that I am pregnant again!

Even with no money and no room in our house, I can't wait. I want a girl this time, and so does Gobias. I've heard bedtime stories about how apples make boys and watermelons make girls, so I'm eating plenty of watermelon. Who knows if it will work.

Citrino has become a toddler!

Gobias found time to teach him how to walk, but I taught him how to talk. Neither of has got around to potty training. I still am at level 2 of my job, and Citrino is not exactly the most well-behaved toddler. Plus, Gobias has been doing all of the gardening and balancing his (now level five) job.

Monika has been fishing up at the Falls, catching Alley Catfish. She only comes home to sleep, and when she isn't sleeping, she is almost always painting. I did get to talk to her a little more, Because we've been getting a little distance.

Monika went to Jamie Jolina's house for a party, and poor Jamie died of thirst.

But she wasn't gone for long.

We also got a new pet! Monika saw a wild horse, and got a chance to befriend him.

I guess that's all, for a little while at least. Until my little daughter (I hope) comes.

The Mosimann Dynasty: Chapter 7, A Future Author
« Reply #21 on: April 17, 2014, 08:23:54 PM »
Author's Note: my screenshots at this point were really bad, as you may have noticed in earlier updates. This is my first story ever (also the first time my sims have lived long enough to become elders.) They have improved a bit in the last little while, but not a lot, so please do not judge.  ;) in the meantime, I am so far ahead of my updates it's funny. Citrino has only a few days until he becomes a YA.

Chapter Seven: A Future Writer

I've given birth to a beautiful girl named Violet.

She's just adorable!

And so far, she's not as cranky as Citrino was. She likes being alone, instead of with people, and she's a little lazy. In a baby, those are good things!

We got a new roommate!

The money was for improvements in our home, and the painting skill was for portraits.

The EMERGENCY kind. I blame the watcher. She should have gotten Monika to a higher painting skill. Humph. Only a new nursery and second floor with a private bedroom and bathroom could make me feel better.

And the dog was for...?

Oh, socializing. Isn't it great? Emma and Sassy seemed to bond over their mutual dislike of each other!

In other news, Monika's boyfriend Leighton doesn't want kids (yes, even though he is family oriented and totally in love with Monika), so Monika has adopted.

Her new kid is a girl named Lila. She's supposedly Grumpy, although so far, she's been nothing but sweet. (Lila, why are your traits showing up incorrectly in the simology panel?) She's also very Brave, and she enthuses over vehicles. She wants to be a police officer when she grows up, and she'll get to drive a police cruiser. That'll cater to all her traits, because she can be as grumpy as she wants toward criminals!

Citrino had his child birthday the next day.

He's even cuter then he was as a toddler, and thank Watcher I don't have to take care of him as a toddler anymore. I love him, don't get me wrong, but he had a lot of tantrums.

I was getting really stir crazy. But I guess it was worth it, because now Citrino is my good friend. And he got all his toddler training done.

I taught him to talk and walk, but Monika taught him to use the potty.

Another Author's Note: Violet was assigned traits. Guess what she got? Loner and couch potato. Gee, I wonder what her hobby will be.
Another Another Author's Note: I think I have Citrino's clothing pictures and they will be posted next update.

How does a cat dreaming about lobster equate to immortal dynasties? Maybe if it was dreaming about birthdays . . . ?

Also, I don't even think that there is a cat in this . . .

ETA: Oh, wait, never mind, I got you on the lobster thing. It's the moodlet for "perfect meal." Ah. Got it.

And there is a cat in this. MY, I feel foolish now.  :-[ My apologies all around.
The Hideous Immortal Dynasty

I think those pictures gave me heartburn.

That's OK. I've had this happen at least five times now. I'm getting really freaked out. Actually, just about everything my sims do freaks me out.

Chapter Eight: A new life for Agnes

When I was invited to join the Mosimann household, it wasn't as bad as some of the other times I've joined a dynasty. I mean, most dynasties invite me to join their household before it even has anything more than sleeping bags. I sold my car (as usual), but the first floor of the house was already built. And the Watcher hadn't planned on including me in the Mosimann home, but as usual she was incredibly incompetent and didn't have Monika skill fast enough. Really, it's a wonder she's gotten this far.

Violet now she enjoys the nursery most of the time.

Her brother, that cute little kid whose name is Citrino, did too, but only for the one day before he became a child. Well, at least my car went to the cause of a nursery.

Sassy, my pet dog from the mansion (Why did I sign up for this anyway?), worked on her hunting skill. She came with only level two, which is not enough for real money making.

Lila settled in to our house. She didn't have much to do other than clean yet, but that will change soon enough.

We all know about museum slaves. I guess I'm one too now. Oh joy.

Agnes, I let you write books in your free time.
So?
No complaining.
Why not...? Hey, who am I talking to?

Anyway, Gobias aged up and became an elder.

And after another day so did Violet, but her pictures will come next update.
We also got a new butler. Her name is Annemarie Medrano.

(She stayed for one day before glitching, aging to an elder, and then disappearing. I didn't even have to pay her.)
Stop hijacking the update! As I was saying... Picture limit? What? Why are you hijacking my update? Stop! I never get to talk...
So while I calm Agnes down, here's an update. Sorry it's so late.

After a long period of not playing it, I will play this again. I have discovered the "save as" trick (for real guys, this made my LS dynasty run just like new.) Now that the game won't run at the speed of a snail chained to an anchor, I can play again.

Chapter 9: We're Back! And then we go back to hiatus because I'm busy with my speed run

All my pictures have disappeared. I do not approve.
Seriously, Lila? And you think I do?
I was happy in my childhood. You chose not to show that. Oh, woe is me...
I didn't chose to have photobucket delete everything.
And my poor boyfriend! All his childhood has also been wiped away.
His childhood wasnt happy. It was full of fish...
I have the dramatic trait, OK? Poor, poor us... Especially me. After Blanca bought that moodlet manager my teen years were so horrid.

I aged up in a bathroom.

I did her clothes in Lilac. Which is her favorite color. It's sort of creepy because I chose Lila for a name before knowing that.
My age-up style was horrible.

Agree, but so was Violet's.

Here's her clothes.

Would you stop that? This is MY update, so here are MY clothes.
They aren't there. I deleted them too.
Oh, woe is me. I am a dramatic, grumpy, and brave green thumb. My watcher over emphasizes how dramatic I am.
No, you do. Whenever I leave you alone I come back and you have the thespian moodlet.
(Shut up!) And then the endless sculpting began.
Poor Violet spent all her time painting and doing photography. It was so sad.
On the bright side, she completed renaissance sim as a teen! And you completed perfect garden!
Without doing any work whatsoever, might I add.
Well, take what you can get. Signing off now.
Hey! Get back here now!
