Question About Emperor of Evil Red Glow
« on: February 27, 2014, 11:45:14 PM »
Does ANYONE know if, after reaching Emperor of Evil, do sims keep the red glow even if they switch jobs? I mean, my EoE just had twins with his wife and desperately needs more money... I'd switch him to the thief side for more money, but if it means losing the glow then... Well, I'm not sure. I'm too fond of it  8)

I'm moving this to the Careers and Money-Making subforum. :)

And yes, he will lose his glow if he switches to the other branch or otherwise forfeits his Emperor of Evil status.

Hi gracefulclutz. :) Welcome to the forum.

Can I ask that you rename the thread? "Not sure if goes here or general discussion... But I have a question." Doesn't really describe your question for anybody reading the thread. You can do this by modifying the post, which you can find in at the top right of your post. Thanks. :)

I took care of this and changed the title.

Does this include retirement from the Emperor of Evil position?

Yep. Anything that makes them not hold an active position as the Emperor of Evil.

Are you sure about this?  For some reason, I thought they kept the glow with retirement.

@Jamie:

You could test it by having your Sim retire and see if the glow goes away.  If you're not happy with what happens, exit the game without saving.

I thought they kept the glow too. I'll have to try to with my next Emperor of Evil.
