Problem with installing Roaring Heights

I got Roaring heights about a week ago and when i try to install it is the sims 3 installer says that i need a software update and to make sure i have the latest software updates. The sims 3 launcher on the other hand says Im updated soI hope someone here knows what to do, cause I have been dying to move some of my sims to roaring heights.
