Mod to fix traveling bug for university

I am having a big problem getting a lot of my sims to go to uni. I take the aptitude test, they enroll and leave for uni. But when uni finishes loading, my sims are nowhere to be seen. I get there in edit town mode. I have no mods or custom content, the mascot arrives without any issues and my family tree loads fine.

I have done extensive research on the matter, and I have even downloaded super patches but nothing seems to work. EA have also been no help. But then I heard about Twallan's travelers mod, and thought, wow, that should do the trick, but for the life of me, I can't find it on the internet to download!!!

Can anyone direct me to where I can download it? And has it worked for anyone?

Welcome to the forum! It sounds like the travelling bug has hit university. Unfortunately, I'm not sure the traveler mod will help here. I looked it up (I know a bit about mods, but not much) and, unless my skim reading defies me, it doesn't appear to fix the bug. You might get more attention from mod users if you change the title to "mod to fix travelling bug?" or something like that and PM a moderator to see if they can move this to the modifications board. Hope this helps a bit!

Anyways, from the sounds of this - please correct me if I'm wrong - you send your Sim to university (or sims) you go through the happy loading screen and it takes you to the edit town screen right, now the "choose household?"

After some digging through Crinrict's bug blog, I found this, which may not be the same as yours, but the solutions are worth looking at:

Thank you, and to answer your questions, sometimes I can send sims to university, but with certain families I can't, so think it is spesific saves.
I have Seasons, Ambitions, WA, Supernatural, University Life and Island Paradise.
I am downloaded to the latest patch.

You are 100% correct about my problem.

I will had a look at these threads and I am going to try it. Think it's worth a shot to check everything out and I will try what I can and let you know if I have any luck .

It feels like everyday there is a new problem with sims lol, today it is my launcher not even opening, but think that's a whole new problem on its own and I will try and fix that so I can see if any of these tips work, might take a while with this new problem, so will get back to you when I have that fixed.

There is only one more thing I can think of, I saw in that link that Twallans travelers mod might work, I have read it works for some people, so want to give that a shot, only problem is, I did not see a download link on that thread. Did try it, but without any luck. But appreciate all the help

I am starting to suspect the problem is in Isla Paridiso because none of my sims there can go to univerysity and I highly doubt all of my sims are corrupt. Never had this problem before with every household in a different world.

I am going to phone EA tomorrow and ask them about this, as it's definetly not my computer because I checked the minimum requirements.

Uninstalling and re-installing did not work as well.

Will let everyone know if I find the solution when speaking to EA.

While doing some game trouble shooting awhile back. Crinrict says the same travel bug experienced in going to/from university is the same travel bug that was introduced with World Adventures. And still has yet to be fixed, by the sounds of it.
