So I got a new computer last month and i was playing Sims 3 and my expansion packs perfectly fine. Everything saved properly and there were no issues at all. However last week I had to completely wipe my computer and return it to original settings because of an issue with Microsoft Office.
Now I have ran into a disastrous error! I re downloaded Sims and created a new game, played for a while and then saved it. It appeared as though it had saved perfectly fine. But when I went back on Sims the next day, my game was gone. At the time I thought that I had ejected the disc before it had saved or it was just a temporary issue. So I decided to just create my game again. The same problem occurred. It is so frustrating, I had tried it several times and have browsed many topics but haven't found anyone with the same problem! The whole game seems to just go back to the beginning as it comes up with the tutorials and everything. I have tried to find a problem with my 'Saves' folder but the folder is always empty! I don't understand what could be wrong as my computer is brand new and has worked fine previously.
If anybody know why this is happening, please can you talk me through it because I don't have the slightest idea and I'm extremely frustrated with the whole thing. Thank you.
