Best place to buy expansions?

Due to dumb Origin being, well, dumb, I need to repurchase the base game and 3 expansions. I plan to purchase the base game and one expansion with my $50 best buy gift card, but where is  a cheap place I could get the other two expansions? Sorry if this  is the wrong place, I didn't know where to put it.

Why would you need to repurchase the game? They're so expensive, it's tough buying them even the first time!

Sometimes stores have them on sale, but really the best place to get good deals is Amazon - you can probably get some used versions of it cheap (seeing as you've already bought them, I see no issue with you getting them for cheap seeing as you already bought them.
Also - have you contacted EA? I mean, before you run out and buy another set of everything make sure that you haven't done everything you can to get your other versions back.
I'm assuming you either ran out of "downloads" available (I heard they were starting to limit how many times you can download the game from origin which is ridiculous to me!) or something funky is happening, maybe I can help you troubleshoot.

Before you re-purchase anything, can you describe the problem you are having with Origin? As "Origin being dumb" really doesn't explain what the problem is.

As LivvieLove asked, have you contacted EA's customer service about the problems you're having with Origin?

As they will be able to help fix it. Specially if it's just an Origin problem and really nothing wrong with your actual Sims 3 game disks or download.

I'd hate for you to feel like you need to re-purchase some game disks or download codes to find you still end up with the same problem.

If live chat is gray, change your country to US and make sure you're on US Business hours. It might also gray because they're very busy. Try later.

@MrsFlynn Since I put the wrong year in when  I made my account (2007) it thinks I'm under age and I'm not allowed  to log  onto the website, and Help is just telling  me what I just told you. It means that I can't have a store account or purchase games through origin AND install the launcher, the thing I CAN actually log into.

Also, I found sims 3 base game and sims 3 ITF discs, but I still need to purchase Generations and world adventures, which I'll do as the bundle, so with my card technically the problem is 3/4 solved.

There must be some way to contact Origin via phone or live chat? I found the Origin live chat quite helpful.
