Welp! It's official!
After some stubbornness (and random file deletion) I fixed the infinite loading screen bug and was able to send Abe and Ana on vacation. I mostly focused on skills so... NO ROMANCE WHATSOEVER on them... and I took no pictures BUT it's done and they have officially landed back in my DV file safe and sound with all their skills in tact!
THIS MEANS WE CAN KEEP OUR SING-A-LONG!
I've got such split emotions going right now. I'm so tremendously amused by the update and the flippity flap sing-a-long, yet so sad for you for the lost time and progress due to save issues. Much sympathy being sent your way.
Hehe, I'm glad you enjoyed my ridiculous attempt at making a skilling chapter more interesting. I was like, "you know what this needs, a song about pancakes." The best part is, Jeff (the guy from Improv-a-ganza who sang that song), was originally supposed to sing that song about Lumberjacks, but he just decided YOU KNOW WHAT, I'm going to sing about pancakes instead. I feel like this is the explanation of my life, so that song has double meaning for me.
Thankfully though, even though I had to redo all the time spent in France... I did get everything working! All the skills are handled and life is gooood!
Also, because when I had to go back to my save before going to France had Abe still in work... I was able to focus in and get him a promotion day one too... >.> soo... not all bad things came from this!
