Two fabulous updates!
I am sad that Felix is sad, but I'm glad that you've decided to balance Felix's mood by reminding us of just how gorgeous Echo is while also overdosing us on Dagan cuteness.

How great to run into the oh-so-perfect Olga and I've always been partial to Derrick--he looks great as an elder, too.  Yep, the purple eyes! (Confused...how did Dagan get them? erm, Echo?)
Loved seeing more of Foxglove and Leif--did he blow her a kiss?  Her facial expressions are amazing. And their convo was hilarious.

I can't wait for Echo to pop her surprise on Felix (and on us)! The Felix who does not LOVE is barely Felix...

Thank you! They're a bit boring at the moment, as I'm so close to Felix's LTW. Once I'm done with that... Oh man! Felix and Echo have both wanted a vacation. I'm glad you're enjoying more of Echo and Dagan though! They're super adorable!
Those eyes are definitely Derricks (on Dagan, that is). Sometimes genetics skip a generation (especially with Story Progression mods) in the Sims 3. So Dagan got them through Echo.
Poor Felix. He's so not himself. I hope Echo can shake him out of it.
Morrigan's face makes my world so much better now. All I need is Fenris and then I'll never be able to stop playing this file...

Thank you guys sooo much! I haven't had much time to really play, but I knew Felix was close so I was really cranking out those cases as much as I could. I'm so relieved. He, Echo, Dagan, and unborn Nix can have a fantastic life now!

He gained the trait "Loves the Heat" which is good, in the land of Eternal Summer... but it doesn't help me with skills, but he immediately rolled the LTW Illustrious Author and I took it, because that means I can have more people hunting for my Fenris picture!

Thank you all for being so awesome! Sorry for the long delay on this update. I burned out hard after Felix's PI career and it seemed like every time I went to open up the game something would get in the way (but only on this file, no clue why).
I apologize that this chapter is a little out-of-whack. Honestly, my boyfriend's father is hospitalized and I mostly just wanted to play for fun, so this chapter may not be as lighthearted as I try to make my writing style to be.

Chapter 46: Foxglove, because Foxglove
Dagan aged up to child in between the last update and this one, and Felix completed his Lifetime Wish.
Upon aging up to child, Dagan rolled the LTW Illustrious Author.
A painter and a writer. Only done that one a million times before, but hey! It's easy and the kid hasn't rolled any skill-specific traits. Win-Win.
Thusly, it was time to put away some of the creative utensils in the Art Room of the Nix Mansion and expand it to be more... fitting of what is to come.

I was playing a wonderful game of "clean out everyone's inventories" (I know, I live so dangerously), when I discovered these two in Felix's inventory:

Dagan took to painting like a weasel to the seven-day circus.
What? That makes sense. Majnun told me it did.
Wrong story.

However Felix then rolled the wish to become best friends with Dagan. I hate when people interrupt my Sims when I finally got them on a roll, but Felix has been feeling down lately and I decided he was worth it to try to cheer him up.

Unfortunately though, Felix does not seem to show much signs of healing, nor has he returned to his excitable-self yet.
Echo is still working through her pregnancy. I've lost count how many days it's been, but it feels like 1000. Probably only been one though. This is how my life has been.

"No, I'm not going to cheer you up too." Echo frowned. "I already devoted my body to having a child just to cheer up Felix. I have no more I can give the world."
You've done more than enough! But... can you tell me why... at level 9... you still make disgusting drinks?
"Oh hush."

Foxglove and Leif are getting ready to age up, and I get to admire all the paintings in this glorious paintings replacement mod.

Still no Fenris... The watcher sighs sadly.


Felix now has ample free-time on his hands, and he's going to max all the skills he had started before going all PI on me.

"This man looks interesting."
Indeed, the cowboy hat is a nice touch. Feeling any better, Felix?
"I feel alright, why do you ask?"
Just checking in.
"Oh, thanks."
ECHOOOO!
(A few moments later.)

Despite him not being as enthusiastic as usual, Felix is still 100% in love with Echo.

On the other side of the house, Foxglove and Leif have reached day zero and it's time for them to face their cakes:

Leif went first. Don't ask me about his traits. I don't know. I remember one of them is Loves the Cold. I remember I laughed at that because he's a plant and plants typically do not love the cold.
"I don't need your judgment! I'm unique!"
Yes... yes you are.

He aged up with a leafy beard, and when I was finished laughing at him I sent him over to the dresser.

(Leif is grumbling under his breath).


Up next was Foxglove, who I remember gained Adventurous to add to...
Yeah I don't know.

"S'ok; you did your best."
That I did. Now let's have a look at-OH MY GOSH.
"What?! What?! Is there something wrong with my face?!"
YOU'RE SO GORGEOUS.

GET THEE TO A DRESSER!


"So?"
I'm saving you.
"I don't need saved-"
YES YOU DO. I NEED YOU IN MY LIFE.

Meanwhile, Reid rolled a wish to see Foxglove get married. Seeing as I love her bunches and Leif and her have flirted before, I decided to see if they might roll some wishes for each other by having them flirt.
The following is the adorableness of Foxglove. I have no regrets.



Her eyes are so big... they're so adorable.

What's this? A sassy eyebrow to go with Quinn's lips?! Fantastic! Sassiness all around!

And she's back to being adorable.

Leif: is his young adult outfit the default plant sim outfit or did you find those awesome leafy scraps somewhere? His green is a perfect match! (Obviously, I have no idea what comes default with a YA plant sim...) He is very cute nevertheless and even matches Foxglove's hair!

I appreciate the well-wishings. We're waiting to hear news mostly. Hopefully of his recovery.

Felix - his midlife crisis lasts 2 days, however he's just seemingly in this funk. He doesn't smile much anymore. I really do hope his kid can help shake him up a bit - I miss those goofy eyes.
Leif - Plantsims can wear any outfit/hair as normal Sims, but I like to keep it to plantsim stuff because they look weird in other things (in my opinion). He does match up with my Foxglove though, that he does.
Foxglove - she's just lovely. I just love looking at her cute faces all the time!
Ah, how she's related to Quinn. Well the founder of this story is Ara Nix, she's the daughter of Quinn. =) Non-canonical to my Reaper's story, but her mother is also Esmerelda. Just throwing that out there. (Let's just say Quinn and Ezzie have a tendency of meeting over and over again - shrug). So that would be Quinn>Ara>Sam>Reid>Foxglove.  All of which carry his mouth.
Dagan, on the other hand, takes far too much after Echo's side of the family, so he doesn't look much like Foxglove (his auntie).

Foxglove is beautiful! Does this mean you'll pay more attention to her?  I bet you anything the art room was extended to hold as many Fenris paintings as possible when someone finally paints them, lol. Just the mention of Majnun, urgh I need to get a move on and get to your current Reaper chapters, the spoilers are hard to avoid and I don't understand them which is so frustrating.

Also, sorry about your boyfriend's dad, hope he recovers soon.
