You certainly didn't miss giving condolences to Felix. Any condolences now are well received. I do miss him but I'm so excited to be at generation 6 and moving forward!

Chapter 78: Quinn
Well, you're all reading the title like "Quinn? He's here?"
I wish!
But he is!
Hush now, I promise this isn't Majnun speaking. It's just Olivia fogged over with heavy allergies. She left the safety of her warm... concrete... low-pollen city and stepped into... nature. Yuck.
Just kidding. I love nature...when it's not trying to kill me.
So here we are again! What were we talking about?
Nixes. Right!

Foxglove gave birth to a little boy named... Ronald.
I have no qualms with anyone named Ronald... but really game? Really? I give you Foxglove, Leif, and Meira and you come up with... Ronald?!
(Sighs) So, here's for you, @Nienor:

He grows up quite handsome. Shame that Leif's genetics seems to have taken hold of both the babies Foxglove and Leif have had thus far. Hopefully we'll see more. They both just aged up to Adults and that leaves 6 prime baby-making days left for them!

For the record, Meira turned into a teen during this chapter, and here she is with a makeover I gave because... I've been really bored in this file... 


The Triplets learned how to drive. Echo got Ambriel, Dagan got Anastasia, and Yolanda got Arietty.


Sheera is working on her Alchemy and mixing all of her potions she'll need (AKA 50 Bliss potions she'll drink to help speed things along).

Anyways, the triplets went back to skilling and painting. I really should take them on a vacation and take advantage of how many points I could get from them... but...

No. We're leaning on a no there.

The big news happened though!

YES. SHEERA. GO INTO LABOR. DO IT. I BELIEVE IN YOU. MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE.

After much laboring and many pictures, Sheera brought into the world a perfect baby boy.

This boy gave me a good feeling. There was something special about him. I got to select his traits (which isn't actually allowed in this challenge, but I got to randomize two traits afterwards).
What's this special child's name?
Quinn.
His traits he rolled by luck? Genius and Excitable.
Two traits of Quinn Flanagan. Yes. I'm still in shock. It was destined, and because I can't wait until the end of the update to show you:


He has Quinn's lips too.
Six generations of Quinn's lips on little Quinn with Quinn's traits. My sweet little Quinn is officially my favorite child from this dynasty. I've seen him all grown up. He's perfect.
But anyways, his birthday didn't happen for a day, so with the remainder of the allotted slots... let's rewind.

So Sheera just gave birth and she's glowing and adorable.

Wow. She's too pretty.

And she loves little Quinn almost as much as I do.
"Almost? He's my son!"
I know, but you don't even understand...
"Pft. Whatever, Watcher."
Still have no idea how you're mean-spirited.
"Did you not see me insult every vendor you've left me alone with?
Nope.
"Wow, are you blind or something?"
Yup.
"Oh. Well, that's awkward."
Nope.
"What?"
I don't know. I got hit by a train called nature. Nothing really makes sense for me right now.
"What? They name trains now?"
Yeah, we'll go with that.
"Alright then..."

Sheera went back to work until it was light out enough to call Sterling.

She has three wishes right now. Max the Alchemy skill, Marry Sterling, and Marry Someone.
(Glares at Echo).
Echo: harasses the world.

"I ain't dead yet!"
When did you suddenly get a drawl and start talking like my grandmother?
"I've ALWAYS talked this way."
Uh... no, you haven't?
Echo grumbles.


Sheera and Sterling are heartbreakingly adorable.
Thankfully, if Echo continues to be stubborn, the girls age up in two days and we'll have space then. I just hope Sheera can hold out a little longer.
Until then, Sterling continues to prove useful towards the Squad.

"Thanks handsome."
"No problem, beautiful."
Can we just talk about how these two are always spamming romantic interactions?

The girls are gorgeous, but they're not doing anything noteworthy. I'm just trying to pass the time while they all skill rapidly. I'm leaning heavily on no vacations for the girls, and that's fine.

Oh that painting comes up all the time, it's gotten to the point where I don't even pay attention to the paintings everyone paints anymore... they're not Fenris (sighs).
Alas, I have already left my countryside family house (I was only there for a few hours, but that was enough, apparently). I'm recovering now. It's been slow, but hopefully I'll be completely better by this weekend.

Honestly I love oddly spelled things, though they do tend to bite me in the butt (Arriety? Arietty? XD). The Ronald just makes me think of Ronald McDonald and given red hair is so prominent in the family I just died a little when I saw the name.
I finally am mostly over that allergy attack, so thank you for the sympathy. I used to get it bad every year when I lived in the country and once I moved to the city it made things so much easier on me... but then I forgot to take my medication before visiting the countryside again. It was all my fault, essentially.

Chapter 79: Quinn-Squared?
This chapter is mostly Quinn spam. Sorry not sorry?
Quinn got potty-trained by Sheera, he's just too much.


As he was finished with that, I had a gift for Sheera, so I had her drop the darling Quinn off in the playpen while she took a very important potion.

I had been hoping she would take it before having Quinn (for a witchy boy) but unfortunately once the chimes go off you cannot change a mother's lifestate. Boo.
"That's probably a good thing, watcher."
Not when you're me.
So Sheera went back upstairs to continue the long-haul towards her lifetime wish.

Not sure how that happened. Sent her back into school and that seemed to count as another day, so she's officially been on the honor roll for 3 days, despite only going to school for 2? Whatever floats your boat, game. I'll take it.

Quinn got to learn how to walk in the walker.



Oh, and this is Sheera's 50th elixir. She just needs to reach level 10 of the Alchemy skill and her lifetime wish is DONE.

Oh, and Hipp and Kewl had a baby named... crap, can't remember it - Jane? I think?

Either way, I was hoping those two wouldn't leave me without giving me a wee little gnome-baby!

Quinn is super adorable. I love playing him. He's being saved to the simbin! I love Echo, but she's determined to stay alive and that makes me love her less.

Chapter 80: NotaFlanagan
Here's one for you, @PeregrineTook.
So, we begin this chapter that I took screenshots for over a month ago with... Arietty playing chess!

Oh, and Quinn being adorable. HI QUINN!


Wait, my screenshots were out of order. Well, I've already started this chapter... so... we're just going to roll with it. We backtrack a few hours from Arietty playing chess and discover that Anastasia just got out of her school field trip and decided to see what this other pudding face boy had to offer her.

"Date? Well that's awfully soon, I don't know about that. You see I'm already engaged, but if you're cool with that then-Right. Ok. See you at the park." She ends the call. "He's a stage-five clinger. I can feel it."

At the park:
"He's coming straight for me!"
You're the one who invited him, love.

"Shut up! He's creepy!"
Right now he's our only option.
"No... please no!"
Don't worry, love: daddy Dagan is on the case!

"Hmm, do you feel suitable enough to date my daughter?"

"Well, I'm a townie sim, so does that count for something?"
"Watcher?"
No rainbow skin. No. I refuse to give up on this. Rainbow skin or bust. Quinn remains in the house, so we can't afford another close-call like you and Yolanda had.
"Sorry, mate, but we're going to have to pass. NEXT."

Back on the ranch farm park... family graveyard?

"And let's talk about our wedding."
Anastasia fakes a smile. "Maybe if I pretend to listen and nod he'll go away?"
Unlikely.
"Drat."

Meanwhile her sisters are at home, doing homework.

"Why can't I be doing homework with them? Or digging my way to china with a chopstick? Oh! What about slowly gouging my own eyes out? All of that sounds funner than this!"

"And let me tell you about my favorite food!"
"How about we don't and say we did?"
Your dad is coming up dry, Anastasia... go ahead and use the potions.
"But... why?!"
Just do it.
Anastasia huffs. "Fine."

"I suddenly like you more!"
"The feeling isn't mutual buddy."

I send Anastasia home when Dagan turns up a lead!
Go Dagan, go!
"They're only distantly related! We can manage that, right?"
Let me check the family tree... and we're good! I can swing it! Let's take a look here!
Dagan arrives at their house and is let in by the potential suitor's mother.

"Hi! Welcome to our home!"
"..."
...
"...Watcher?"
I know.
"Is your son adopted by chance?"
"Excuse me? Why of course not!"
I'll go get Anastasia.
"She's going to kill you."
S'ok. I'll take one for the sake of the dynasty. She gets a Flanagan later anyways.
"Is he a nice boy?"
I'm sure he will be. At the very least he'll be nicely dressed, lest the ghost spirit of their ancestor Quinn up and has a heart attack and dies... again...
"Oh, well that's a relief."

It was her son's birthday.
"Pst... Watcher!"
Hm?
"What's his name?"
Psh, like I know. I took these pictures almost a month ago. For now we'll call him NotaFlanagan. Sound good?
"Right. Gotchya. Happy birthday NotaFlanagan! Woo! Yay!"

Well, he has the right attitude judging by his thought bubble! Worship her, darnit!
Alright, let's take a look at this guy here... OHSWEETMAKER.
Well... he's got... uh... nice... uh... a nice lawn. That's it. He's got a fantastic house. I'm sure he'll make a great husband.
"Watcher, he's going to move to our house..."
Shh, I was just trying to find something nice to say about him...
Anastasia shows up, ready to meet her future husband and cuts to the chase.
"Anything but the stage-five clinger."

"Hi! I'm-"
"Yeah, yeah. Just hold my hands, I guess? This is how we do this whole... dating thing, right?"

"You're beautiful."
"You're tolerable."
Dagan's face summarizes this event.

"At least he's got rainbow skin."
True story.

Hey, Anastasia... can you at least try to smile a little for him? You'll at least need one child.
"One. You're getting one child and that's it."
Deal.
"Alright then. One smile coming right up."

That... looks painful.
"You didn't specify what kind of smile it needed to be."
Touche.

Oh look! Quinn-joy!


So just as things were starting to warm up at NotaFlanagan's house...

"Oh, no! No! No! Not another clinger!"
He's just kissing you after you kissed him, Anastasia.
"Yes... but he's not a Flanagan!"
Yes, he is NotaFlanagan and not a Flanagan. How could you have ever surmised that?
"I'm going to bury him in the backyard if this keeps up."
"Uh... I'm right here?"
So long as you get pregnant first.
"..."
No other way around it.
"I'm still right here."
"FINE! Yes. One child."
Anyways, as things warmed up there to just a hair above frozen-over... Anastasia and Dagan were booted from the house.
Apparently 4am is a bad time to be trying to get a boyfriend in this town. How rude.
Never fear, Anastasia invited NotaFlanagan back with us to the Nyx house to bind her life to him until one child do they part.

"This isn't so bad, right Anastasia?"

"Anastasia?"
"Huh? You were talking? Whoops. I was purposefully ignoring you."

Remember, you have to have at least one child. That means he has to like you enough to have that child with or I'm sending you back to the stage-five clinger.
Anastasia gulps. "You monster." She grits her teeth and sighs.

"This hurts. My eyes are burning."
"I'm so happy you're my girlfriend!"
"I'm happy I haven't gone blind yet."

Just go to your happy Flanagan place, Anastasia. Everything is fine.
"Oh I'm going to my happy place alright, but you're dead there."
You do you, Anastasia.

Oh, and I feel bad because Ambriel hasn't gotten a mention - she's just enjoying her potion making.

And Arietty is... playing chess!
