Dagan after his mid-life crisis made me realize how very artful your choice of hair has been for him--those cheekbones are downright frightful. Thank you for "framing" his face so nicely!
Yolanda's in a close race to finish her career!
With her white hair and light-hued skintone, Echo looks mighty awesome in a labcoat!

I love little Ambriel. I would've loved for her to be my heir instead. Arietty is fun though, because she's supposed to be my cheerful child according to her traits, yet she's always glaring at everything. Meanwhile Anastasia is giving me a bit of a headache with her traits (she rolled mean spirited on her teen birthday, making her a Grumpy, Hates the Outdoors, Evil, Mean Spirited sim).
Haha! I TOLD everyone that Dagan's cheekbones could cut someone. XD His hair helps soften is look to make him a bit less lethal.
Yolanda is close to finishing but still so far. I can nab a promotion every day but it may not be enough. Izzy from generation 2 just missed her final promotion by a day. I won't rest well until Yolanda sees that level 10.
Echo is so pretty, but she's been a mess since Felix passed. I've mostly kept her out of the updates for that reason. She's either crying or pulling out Felix's cane and "harassing the world" with it.
Midlife crises can be cured for $2,000 a pop at the hospital. This family is drowning in money and I didn't want to see all the silly wishes for things I know my sims don't want (like getting a divorce when they're constantly all over their spouses). Yolanda and Dagan are just fine and still making kissy faces at each other the second I leave them alone.
As for the triplets? They're stunning teens. I've got about 2 more chapters worth of stuff to go up still. I've just been trying to spread it out a bit more.
Anyways, thank you as always for you lovely and thoughtful comments. I always love hearing what you have to say!

I always knew that you could cure a Midlife Crisis but I never really used it (though looking back on it, I probably should've). I usually just go with the flow. It's titled "Get Therapy" at the hospital, which is somewhat amusing for me.
The girls are gorgeous. I'm working on the chapter right now where they age up.
As for Echo, she probably won't run into his ghost again just for pure laziness on my part. I keep the graveyard super far away from the home lot just because I don't want to deal with ghosts all the time and the dropped queues. Felix has been placed with the rest of his family and Echo will join him soon (in roughly 2 game days her age bar will be filled).
Thank you for your lovely comment! I've got another Nix chapter incoming and (depending on how much building I feel up to doing) I may have another Reaper chapter up tonight too.
All the while my homework glares at me. Ah well. Priorities, right? XD

Chapter 76: Welcome to the Squad
I'm going to just start this chapter out with pictures of the girls still at the block table because... why not?


"Oh I just love thinking about the future!"
Uhm... ouch? Doesn't that hurt?
"AH, MY HAND."

Dagan and Yolanda continue being adorable whenever I look away.
"QUICK. SHE'S NOT LOOKING. ASK ME TO WATCH THE STARS WITH YOU."

"We're totally skilling right now, watcher."
"Shh, do you think if we hold still she won't notice us?"
"I'm not sure..."
"She's busy arguing with the crazy man in her head, so why not?"
"Good point."


The girls hit level 3 in the block skill and I shuffled them over to their easels to begin painting.

Meanwhile, Dagan and Yolanda were kindly escorted back to their skilling objects.

"I can feel you glaring at me, watcher."
I DO NOT HAVE A CRAZY MAN INSIDE MY HEAD. (Long pause.) SHUT UP, MAJNUN.
"..."
"......."

Sheera did her one-two-step and flipped into her maternity wear.

"Awe, Nooboo!"
Always amazing how, no matter what the traits - Sims are ALWAYS excited about a pregnancy. Would it be too much to ask for at least one out of five to be hesitant or nervous? No?
"Don't you complain, this baby's potentially going to have the lips you're looking for!"
Fingers crossed! If not, I think Meira may have the lips, I'd need to examine her again to be sure. She can always move in with us and spread the Quinn-Lip love!
"I WON'T BE REPLACED!"
Of course not, dear. No one could ever replace you.

Anyways, the night progresses. The girls paint. Dagan paints. Yolanda sculpts. Echo works on her potions. Sheera works on her alchemy. All is right in the world.



Well, except for Arietty, but that's only because I won't let her kill anyone.
"I WILL RULE THE WORLD."

Hipp and Kewl are still up and about.

Harassing the world and making merry, of course.

I decide it's time to invite almost-daddy Sterling over to at least tell him the good news of the impending baby.
Only the game decides to try and throw me a curveball.
Game: "Ha-ha! You petty human stand no chance against my INVISIBLE SIM. This one you won't be able to change their clothes by clicking on them! TAKE THAT!"

Olivia: (Yawn).
Game: "Aren't you upset?! Mu-wahaha!"
Olivia: I'm hungry, actually. Hey, Sheera, why don't you take your pretty boyfriend to the Bistro for lunch?
"Oh, a fancy restaurant! Yes please!"
(Sterling changes into swimwear because he's inappropriate).

Olivia: Oh, would you look at that. There he is.
Game: "FOILED AGAIN!"
Olivia: (Stretches neck and shoulders) Next!

"So, handsome, the real reason I brought you out here was so that I could tell you something."

"Oh, what's that beautiful?"
"Well, I'm pregnant."
"Really! That's great!"

Sheera and Sterling return home because I hate how crowded the Bistro lot in DV gets. I return to adjusting the girls and take them on a little ride in the Mobile to up their happiness. I come back and find this:

"YOUR FAMILY ARE ALL LLAMAS AND I HATE EVERYTHING YOU STAND FOR."
Woah there. Cool that baby bump, Sheera. I don't exactly LIKE Sterling but I'm pretty sure he didn't deserve that.
"S'ok watcher. She's beautiful when she's angry." (Sterling proceeds to flirt with Sheera).

Wow. That's... wow. You guys are like, perfect for each other. I'm just...
Then something even crazier happened: Sterling asked Sheera to move in with him.
This wasn't something I did. It was a prompt. I've only ever had it happen to me once before in my entire Simming history. It was kind of a huge deal. I sat on the screen for a long time. Sheera wasn't my heir. Sheera was really just a side project and I'm looking to finish this project relatively quickly. I loved her and it's clear she's crazy about Sterling and the worst-case scenario is it doesn't work out and I move her back in.
I accepted.
Irony then came into play when it wouldn't let Sheera move out because there are no beds on my lot... =.=' Though it was an eye-opener. Sheera is here to stay for now, but perhaps when Echo passes it'll be time to move Sterling in.
In the meantime, I decided to give Sterling a little bit more leeway.
"Hey handsome-whose-name-I-still-don't-know, will you... become a part of our squad?"

"OH MY GODS, THIS IS THE BEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE."
Yeah, I know.

Chapter 77: Triple Teens
This chapter is mostly pictures of birthdays. In fact, that's just what we're going to do and if we've got room for other things - then we've got room. The cakes were prepared as midnight came closer.

I sent Dagan and Yolanda to a party hosted by Foxglove (the beautiful, pregnant Foxglove). Echo went for a little walk around the block and I sent Sheera to the alchemy store to make elixirs using their alchemy set.
Really I just didn't want to deal with the hassle of everyone dropping their queues to celebrate three birthdays.
Anastasia, as per her age, went first after midnight struck.

She's such a happy child.


I forgot Sterling was still over and he graced us with his swimwear that he was sleeping in.
"I'm part of the squad now!"
Yes. Yes you are.

Anastasia aged up without ever going to school, so the game gave her the Mean Spirited trait to accompany Grumpy, Hates the Outdoors, and Evil. Woo! What a winner - but she's a gorgeous winner. My heiress is the only one I gave a formal wear to.




Arietty was next, and I've spelled her name six different ways now. Two Ts. One R. Forgive me.


She gained the Social Butterfly trait to slowly kill me with her incessant need to talk to the people she wants to kill to meet. She adds that to Loves the Cold (she can watch other people die from hypothermia while laughing), Absent-Minded (what was she doing? Oh yes, killing people), and Easily Impressed (look at all the ways people can die)!
No, I'm just joking - but I still go for a Femme Fatale look for her



Finally it was Ms. Ambriel's turn.


She gained Star Quality to add to Unlucky, Loves the Heat, and Light Sleeper.



Just because I wanted to check their faces next to each other, I had them all try on Anastasia's hair.

Arietty.

Ambriel.


I go to check on everyone and of course, what do I find?
"YOU'RE TERRIBLE."

Oh Sheera.

Her smile though.

Honestly, Pip, she's all yours. I love her and all, but Ambriel is my favorite. From now on she's Pip's Anastasia.
I remember the first time my Sim went invisible like that... I thought it was the end of the world. Now it's just an extra step. Every career outfit seems to get broken in this file at one point or another. Happened to Izzy and Felix... can't say I remember it happening to Sam and Ima, but they were always moving up in that doctor career.

Yeah, well Anastasia is @PeregrineTook's child now. I'm just borrowing her to achieve my goals. He's got full custody.
Sterling actually did, which is a rare thing in my games. As far as moving out goes, for some reason it saw that my own lot did not have any beds (because I never needed them for my Nixes), and the game cannot let Sims live on a lot where their needs can't be met. Even though Sheera was moving out it wouldn't let me keep my other Sims in their house due to not having a bed. Therefore I could not complete the move-out interaction successfully.
Anyways, yes - HOPEFULLY Echo will join him soon. I like having room in my house. XD
