You know, I can't recall ever rolling that wish before myself unless in the careers that called for it. Maybe I have, but I just can't remember. The game is always out to get us.

Sad news for everyone, Foxglove, Leif and [not spoilering] had to move out due to unfortunate circumstances. It's ok though, because wait until you see Sheera. Oh. Man. She's. GORGEOUS.

Hello dear! Sorry to hear your Wi-fi is giving you trouble. Lindsey is a Holographic Sprite from Into the Future - she's just a little fish thing that Felix talks to!
Why thank you! I love to admire my handiwork that I can be the Queen of both Mushes!
I make Gods bend and fall in love and turn to mush... and then I mush Sims like a slave-driver. All for their benefit, of course.
As for 7 hours of playtime, it's actually an accident most of the time. I lose track of what I'm doing and suddenly it's been 7 hours. I shout "MUSH" whenever I see something adorable or when I'm writing chapters and my characters do something mushy and adorable.
I also shout "MUSH" when my Sims aren't... we'll say... 'performing to their full potential.'
I can hear Echo grumbling in my head. "Yeah, if we aren't learning six things at once, we're not reaching our full potential. Stupid watcher." XD
I'm not crazy. I promise.
I'm just a writer.
Anyways I have like... 4+ more chapters for this story to go up. I just got them all put onto Imgur and I have to go to work. Thankfully when it's slow there I can write out chapters. Hopefully Imgur got all the images I needed downloaded! (fingers crossed).
Also, I'm hoping for better wifi for you, as that sounds really annoying. (Nothing is worse to me than slow wi-fi when I want to read/do something).

Chapter 57: A Lovers' Spat?
We start this chapter out by showing off our lovely couple: Leif and Foxglove.
They consistently roll wishes for each other all the time now. Where was that a couple days ago?

"Aw, you're so sweet honey. I have no idea why my back is hurting like this."
"Don't worry dear, I've got this!"
No idea why your back hurts? Couldn't possibly be why you're vomiting either...

"How strange..."
Nope. Not strange at all. Did you forget that whole conversation we had about you needing to be a mother?
"Did you say something, watcher?"
Ay-ay-ay.

"Who's my perfect Sheera? I LOVE you Sheera! It's me! It's your daddy!"
Aww, you guys are so cute.

"Daddy can't wait for you to age up!"
Me either... I can't wait to see this baby girl!
"You're going to be beautiful just like your amazing mom!"

Felix? Earth to Felix!

Meanwhile:

(Police sirens and busted music plays)

Don't worry buddy, I'll get you out of there! Don't use your one phone call just yet! Don't tell them anything! Remember your Miranda Rights!
"Who-huh? HELP ME!"
Don't worry, they'll just drop you off at home where Echo will yell at you for a minute and all will be forgiven.
"NO, ANYTHING BUT MOM."
That's... a reasonable fear.

Dagan gets dropped off by the police officer.
"Do you know how late your son was out? That's after curfew! He could become a delinquent!"
Echo nods. "I'll have a firm talk with him."
(Inside by the window).

"NOW LOOK UPSET AND I'M GOING TO PRETEND TO YELL AT YOU, YOUNG MAN. BLAH BLAH BLAH. DID YOU GET THAT GIRLFRIEND?"
"I did mom... I did..."
"GENIUS, THROW IN A FEW TEARS I THINK SHE'S FINALLY- leaving, ok she left. Good job, sweetie."

"Let's just hope this works out."
"It will. Don't worry. You've got my genes in you."
Thank goodness for that.
"So shall we teach you how to drive?"

All's well that ends well.

Something horrendous happened, everyone! Felix and Echo got... into a FIGHT!

I came in during the middle of it and I have no idea who started it. I tried having Felix do a 'Smooth Recovery' but that just resulted in this:

So I had Echo apologize and they both went to separate corners of the house to cool off.


Meanwhile, Foxglove and Leif are attached at the hip and inseparable.

They're so adorable...

Echo has gone full-into gardening. I originally had her and Felix doing the garden together but... That apparently went sour.

"I don't even know what we fought about..."
Beats me, dear. I just showed up in the middle of it. I have no idea who instigated, just that I had to intervene before you really tanked your relationship.
"Do you think he's mad at me?"
Felix? Mad? At you? Is that even a possibility?
"It was earlier."
Oh dear...


Foxglove did the maternity spin.
"Oh! Oh my! I'm pregnant!"

Leif wants a baby girl, so we're leaving it up to chance.

Echo had her Adult birthday alone in the garden.

Writing the next chapter as we speak. I'm also at work, so it'll take me a little longer to write out each chapter. I've got a good 3+ more chapters to go though!

Chapter 58: The Unfortunate Back Up Plan
We left off with Sheera headed for the cake!


Is that blue hair I see? Awww! Let's take a look at our little Sheera in CAS.

Meanwhile, Dagan called Yolanda to invite her over as he was rolling wishes to go on dates with her, but she was at work. Boo, so he rolled a wish to write her a love letter.
I haven't had a Sim wish for that in a long time. Everyone say it with me: Awwwwwwww!


I then sent him over to check to see if Yolanda was home and then turned back to send everyone to work on their respective skills and what did I discover?

He was talking to newly-aged-up Starr Eames-Nix, Yolanda's little sister. She has eyebrows the size of the St. Louis Arch and a body like a female hulk... and you know what?

BAD DAGAN! BAD! YOU'RE WITH HER SISTER. HER GOOOORGEOUS SISTER. STOP BEING ATTRACTED TO HER BABY SISTER!
Dagan finds Starr Blindingly Stunning (10/10).
The watcher sighs heavily. She's a backup plan if you still feel nothing for Yolanda when it comes time to age up...

(The watcher cries silently at her desire to have her heirs marry someone they're attracted to).
Go home. Now. I'm not thinking about this more tonight.

"How did it go with the girlfriend?"
"She was sleepy so I spent time talking to her younger sister."
Foxglove glares at him. "Don't mess things up with Yolanda. I made her my friend so now I care."
Double for me.

"Stop ganging up on me, I can't help who I'm attracted to."
Oh yes you can. You're going to be attracted to Yolanda and not she-hulk-double-arches Starr.
"What kind of name is Starr anyways?"
Well, if we're being fair, what kind of name is YOLANDA either. Clearly the game does not get my memo about names.
"Have you seen our names, Watcher? Reia? Tessa? Dekit? Leif? Foxglove? Dagan? Sheera? I think we get your memo just fine about your ridiculous name schemes."
Shut up, dissenter Leif.

Speaking of Sheera...

The next day dawns and Echo and Felix worked quietly in the garden next to each other. I can't handle this much longer.

The silly gnomes strike again.

Felix becomes an Elder today, so I took one more picture of his... achievements.

Alright. I can't do this. Felix. Echo. Go to the graveyard together. Pick up the remaining family members who have died there and then TALK.



I force them to talk to each other at the graveyard. Echo broke the ice by talking about their children. I then didn't touch anything and let autonomy take the lead.

"She's got your hair and smile... She's so adorable."

"I've missed you Echo."
"...I've missed you too, Felix."
"What did we fight about again?"
"It doesn't matter... I'm sorry."
"Me too. I LOVE you, I don't like fighting with you."
Well, you're the Hot-Headed one, Felix...
"I don't mean to be! I LOVE my Echo!"

Meanwhile, another woman decided she needs to mourn the dead.
"Excuse me, lady, my wife and I are trying to be romantic here..."
"Seriously. How rude?"


Back at home, the hunt for Fenris is still on.

Chapter 59: Mostly Sheera
We'll start this chapter off showing Foxglove's glowing, adorable pregnancy!

And while several new paintings have surfaced...

None of them are Fenris... (heavy sigh).

Dagan got home from school on the honor roll.
Don't ask me how that happened. He just got on the honor roll. I'm floored. I have proof, but I can't upload it right now because I'm not at home. Meanwhile I had him call up Yolanda and he took her on a date to the Festival.

Awkward baby-sister tagging along.

"Here you go, Lala, have some flowers!"
"Aw! That's so sweet of you!"

Dang, this girl has such a pretty smile.
Please... please just like her, Dagan? Please?
Unfortunately though, she wasn't happy often. Death still plagued her family and I think it was getting in the way of her being able to be happy on their date in a crowded place.

So they went someplace a little... quieter.

"See, now isn't this better?"
The watcher was stunned then. Is that... and 'Attractive Company' moodlet I see?

Speaking of sass. She has Quinn Flanagan's lips. <3 This child is my favorite. That makes her 6 generations of Quinn's lips. Six. She's so cute!

Chapter 60: More Sheera - and Those Other People
So, from where we left off, Dagan and Yolanda were still on a date. It was creeping towards curfew time, yet there was no notice, nor was there any repercussions. These two stayed out until well past 1:30 in the morning before going home.

Yet, apparently, being in someone's house (invited) at 11:05 will get you arrested.
"Worth it."
I'm glad you feel that way, Dagan.


They were autonomously all over each other.

The watcher quietly hums the wedding theme as she picks out children's names.
Dagan and Yolanda began to work on their homework side-by-side then.

"Yeah, so we don't have any beds in our house... are you cool with that?"
"Uhm, where do you sleep?"
"We don't."
"Oh. Cool."
So... accepting.
"Wait, we do have one bed. I forgot. Everyone fights over it."
Unfortunately. Gods forbid your Sleep goes down even SLIGHTLY, you all go running for it at full speed and change into your ugly pyjamas I never picked out for you... really that's the REAL horror story here.
"Yeah... yeah..."

Meanwhile, while this is going on? I'm obsessively taking pictures of Sheera.

Chapter 61: Bonehilda, Who?
Dagan came home and rolled some wishes for Sheera, because, no surprise, Sheera has everyone wrapped around her little finger.

"What's up, sis?"

"Dagan!"
"That's right, sis."

"Are you ready for our birthday tonight, sis?"
"Party!"
"That's right. Yolanda will be there too!"
"Lala?"
"Close enough!"

"Tickle time!"
"No! No!" Sheera giggles.
This child is too much.

Finally, I got this fantastic picture of the two of them:

Dagan has Echo's father's (Derek? Derrick? Whatever.) eyes while I've found out that Sheera has Olga's eyes. She's too adorable.

Anyways, it's Friday in game and everyone had piled in the Motive Mobile before going off to do separate things. Leif and Foxglove though, continued to be the adorable couple I'm so happy I forced to make up their minds.

Unfortunately I've realized by this point that Dagan will be a Young Adult tonight and, seeing as we're playing with fire about getting an heir, will need all the space in the household we can get. It was probably the hardest decision I knew I would have to make - Foxglove would have their child and they would all have to move out.

Until then, let's enjoy them for a little while longer.



Meanwhile, Echo took Sheera inside while Dagan, no surprise, texted Yolanda.

Sheera went back to being adorable and playing with her imaginary friend doll.

Oh, and talking to her daddy.


Dagan has become quite the handyman around the house.

"Screwdrivers fix everything."
Apparently so.

Even more random, apparently this family has a Bonehilda.

I literally forgot I bought one. Whoops.
"So you mean we've been cleaning for no reason?"
Well... the last time I let Bonehilda out she died... which I'm pretty sure is not normal and I don't really want everyone to mourn for another Bonehilda.
"They were probably mourning the fact that they suddenly had to clean and repair everything themselves..."

Downstairs the house was quiet and everyone was happily painting.

Find my Fenris yet?
Collectively: "NO. GO AWAY."

Later that day:

"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, BABY! IT'S COMING."
Alright, Foxglove love, let's go into the nursery. Sheera won't freak out on you because she's amazing.
"She's a baby... she doesn't understand what's even going on."
Exactly. Amazing. Just as I said.

Leif and Felix: "OH MY GOSH. LABOR. AH."
Echo: "Oh I hope she's alright. Would you two get ahold of yourselves?"

After labor and much pain for poor Foxglove, she ushered into the world a beautiful baby girl.

Name, please?
"Meira! Meira Nix."
Beautiful name, aw, Foxglove I'm going to get all sentimental.

"You're doing what needs to be done for the Dynasty, watcher. We understand."
Will you stay to paint Dagan's portrait at least?
"Of course!"

Leif was in shortly after to visit his new daughter.

"Oh my... she's perfect."


Finally, night was starting to fall and of course everyone's birthdays would fall on the full moon.

Thus, with a Zombie Apocalypse closing in... we'll close this chapter up with it.

Chapter 62: Goodbye Foxglove
"Don't worry, babe, I've got this."

They shared a few more kisses before it was time.


Three cakes lined up.
Three beautiful Sims in need of aging.
I'll do these one at a time with pictures of them all dressed afterwards for my own sanity.
Dagan first!

He gained the "Genius" Trait. I didn't even need to write that one down because I remember kicking myself. Echo and Felix both wished for "Dagan to become a Genius" but I canceled it thinking "I'll never roll the Genius trait."
Welp. It happened.

I took one picture without all the hair in his face so everyone could see his face before his normal hair went and covered it up. He's definitely a handsome man! His genetics are rather unique, but I like them.

Now, for his actual makeover.

I just used a Keeper outfit because... lazy.

Of course, this family is still ridiculously ripped.


Next! Yolanda!

She aged up and I moved her into the household to give her a wonderful makeover.

She's gorgeous.
No surprise there, though.

Her lifetime wish? Leader of the Free World. Woah buddy. Rabbit hole job while playing chicken with my heirs? This generation is going to try to kill me, it seems.
Though, after the PI career, nothing really fazes me anymore...
"I LOVE my job."
Shush, we're not talking to you yet.

Finally, and most adorably, Sheera's birthday is next!
No surprise, I took too many pictures.



She gained the Never-Nude trait like Ara. She also has Ara's lips (aka Quinn's lips. I can't get over that. Six generations of Quinn's lips. Wow). Anyways, here she is - stunning.



Now begins the race against the clock to have the heir and jumpstart Yolanda on her career. My gameplan is to go all-wish granting on her and hope I can get her to 50k Lifetime Happiness points for a Honorary Degree and hope that I can Perfect Basil her way to the top quickly.
I was able to complete the Medical career with Ima, but that career requires you to work a whole lot more than the Political Career.
Let's just hope and keep our fingers crossed for a miracle.


So I sent our darling Sheera back to work on some painting because my Fenris painting isn't going to find itself, and this child is too pretty for words.

Both Foxglove and Leif were working on Dagan's portrait.

After they've finished though, I'll have to boot them. The household is simply full and I cannot afford to wait 4+ days for Felix to die just to have an heir (which may or may not be an heir due to their mother's skintone).

At last, Foxglove finished her variant after Leif and hers was a masterpiece, so I picked that one and placed it down in the museum.

I found Foxglove enjoying a last pluck of the bass while Leif watched affectionately.

It's so hard to say goodbye to them, but it has to be done. Foxglove puts the bass away and picks up the phone.

I'm going to miss you terribly, gorgeous. Please take care of yourself and I'll be by to check on you very soon.
"Good luck with getting the heir, watcher!"

Aww, I'll miss you and your disagreeing, but also not for long.
Watching them disappear off the lot was a difficult thing to do.

Chapter 63: Return of the Dancing Bunnies
I sent Yolanda to begin to crank out the Charisma skill through whatever means necessary. She's carrying Friendship potions and studying up in every way possible. I have her take a little break because some things needed to be settled.

"Hey babe! I've got a question for you."
"Huh? What is it?"

"Will you marry me?"

(Cue adorable yes face).
"Yes! Yes of course!"


They wasted no time and got married right on the spot.




Then, of course, one cannot forget the most important after-marriage duty!

"PILLOWFIGHT!"

Ahem...?
"Oh, right."

"CHIMES!"
Yes! Here we go!

Cue: kids music and dancing bunnies.
"We must join the dancing bunnies. We must give them our children."
That's the Spirit!

Dagan went on to paint a few pictures, all new, and none of them Fenris.

I've even started naming them creatively. This one is "Not Fenris 237."
"I thought this one was 'Not Fenris 238?'"
Oh? I've already lost count...
Across the room Sheera was happily painting too.


Dagan interrupted his wife for some other... important after-wedding rituals.

"Here's some pocket-lint babe."
"Aww, thank you! You're so thoughtful babe!"
Then it was back to the dancing bunnies.


Felix got an award from his job again, not sure why, I accidentally closed out of the box without reading it. I get so many Story Progression notifications usually that I just kind of mass-click until they all disappear. Whoops. Sorry Felix.

I then missed the actual award ceremony. I'm doubly a winner today.
"I LOVE my job!"

Later that night Echo got a phone call from her mother Olga that she was hosting a party. Echo was more than happy to go and say hello, and on top of that she also got to meet her little brother!
First things first though, she and Felix were being adorable, as always.


So they packed it up and went to go visit my darling Olga! HI OLGA! I'VE MISSED YOU! I'M SORRY ABOUT YOUR HAIR.

"S'ok, it happens apparently. At least I got to get married and have another child."
I SAW HIM. HE'S GORGEOUS.
"Why are you yelling?"
I HAVE NO IDEA. I FIGURED YOU COULD HEAR ME BETTER THIS WAY.
"You haven't been sleeping much, have you?"
NOPE.
Meanwhile, this is Arnold, Echo's little brother.

Don't ask me where the red skintone came from. I'm not even sure myself. When I looked he was on the Red slider and Olga is on the rainbow while Derrick (Derek?) was on the green slider... (shrugs) I'm exhausted and Sims genetics don't make sense. He's gorgeous either way and he's definitely Derek's (Derrick?).
So there you have it! We're all caught up now and I've gone through 300+ pictures in these past few days! Time to dive back in and play some more. Apologies for lack of wit in these chapters. I've been pretty tired lately and had a rough day so my snark wasn't coming as naturally as it normally does. (Shrugs).

Chapter 64: Mean-Spirited

NO! WHY DID YOU PICK IT UP?! The watcher sighs heavily. Ugh, now it's ours now. You just stole Olga's dragon!
"WE SHOULD NAME IT."
I'm naming it Victor.
"Victor? Why? I was thinking Snuggles!"
Yes, well I'm the one with the keyboard and I said Victor. So he's Victor now.

Back at home, I've got our Yolanda working on photography and hoping that she'll wish to max a few skills here and there with a properly timed Wish-Enhancing Serum so that she might reach our goal of 50k LTHP.

Asides from her being gorgeous, did anyone else know the tablet had a llama on it? I've played with this tablet for years and only just now saw that.

Dagan is handsome as usual. I'm hoping to see what his babies will look like with our dear Yolanda. I've been trying to call her "Lala" but if I'm honest I just always think of the wrong Lala and I have trouble.
"Wrong Lala?"
Yes. She's my adorable counter who only ever thinks wonderful things. It's... a long story. She's adorable though.
Speaking of Yolanda, we've got our first confirmation!

I micromanage Yolanda all throughout her first day of pregnancy. Watching Kids TV and listening to Kids music while I grant her wishes. I had her take up the Social Networking skill for a lot of wishes that come with it and soon she was rolling in bigger wishes. She had a wish to buy a camera so I sent her to the Consignment Store at sunup and got lucky, after that she rolled the wish to max Charisma and Photography. I knew what needed to be done.

She sat down with her tabcasts and some more Kids TV and Kids music when she was stopped to do her pregnancy spin.

She rolled a wish for a girl. I let her finish out her tabcast before going in to break the news to Dagan, who responded in a fashion that @KRae is all-too-familiar with.

"We're going to have a baby!"
Dagan nods and gives a thumbs up.
Don't mind him Yolanda, this is normal for him.
"Oh I know. I did marry him after all."

I kept seeing options for Felix to "Harass the World" with his cane and I just had to see what all the fuss was about.

"You stupid newspapers! I DON'T LOVE STUPID NEWSPAPERS."
Yeah, Felix doesn't seem like the crotchety old man type.
"Oh, this newspaper has an ad for Laundry Detergent on the front... I LOVE Laundry Detergent!"

With everyone in place I suddenly realized it was Sunday night after midnight and completely forgot that it was time for Sheera's teen birthday so that she might be able to attend prom!
I didn't want to interrupt anyone else, so I had everyone keep doing what they're doing except for Dagan, who came out to cheer his baby sister on!

Again, I probably took too many pictures of her.

Problem then? The cake caught fire. First cake fire in a few generations, I think.

So I realized that I probably deserved that to happen, seeing as I was forcing my beautiful Sheera to age up basically all alone, so I used that time that everyone came running to look at the fire to have them all cheer her on for her next attempt at a birthday.

This time things went off without a hitch, and Sheera gained the Mean-Spirited trait.
Really game? Really? You give me a GORGEOUS child and you give them Mean-Spirited above all other traits? I would've taken EVIL at this point!
(Sighs)
It's ok, she's still gorgeous.

To the dresser for her hair, makeup, and outfits! She'll have two outfits I'll show you: her everyday and her Prom.

I accidentally left Yolanda alone and she decided swimming seemed like a better option than having our heir. I corrected this.

I have no idea what to name them, but they just wanted to let everyone know that they're still hip and cool.
I can't even remember where I got them. Probably from Felix? Maybe Reid?

Oh, how sad to see Foxglove and Leif go, but I know you'll share baby updates with us later. ;-)
Sheera looked so much like Felix as a child and didn't resemble Dagan at all!
As a teen, she's kept the "roundness" of her father's face but his huge eyes look fabulous on Sheera with those startling blue eyes! What a dollface!

As for your gnomes' gnames, lol. Maybe you could just name them Hipp and Kewl? (kidding)

Dagan and Yolanda make a knock-out couple, just like you knew they would. Can't wait to see their nooboo. And yes, I'm a huge fan of Olga's father (Derrick? Derek?).
