I'm checking eBay now for the base game, also looking at the three disc starter pack. Then I'll look at adding pets through origin.

What I would recommend would be that regardless if you buy the games on disc or through origin to install the latest (the one that came out the last) through origin, this will make it possible for your to play without using a disc.

I'm also going to walmart to check out what they have. It would be worth it to me to pay a little more and have it today. It's snowing and likely there will be no school tomorrow or next, so I will have lots of time to play! (I'm a teacher, a very dedicated one obviously...) ;)

3 hours later, I'm still updating. This time it's a second round of updates. Good news is there is no school tomorrow. So if I can get it downloaded tonight I can play tomorrow!!! Tonight would be better obviously...

Most likely an internet issue - downloading is known to take very long some days and for some people.

Makes sense, since* our internet is slow. Having trouble typing with the new iOS version on my phone. Finally got my town downloaded and created myself and my boyfriend. Wanting to create a few friends and get going! So excited! I'm determined to have twins and at least one boy with the couple I created for me and my bf!
