I just went camping for 2 weeks, so have been inactive. My family are taking me to France on Saturday for another 2 weeks. I'll do my best to play enough ingame for a chapter before I go and will write it on the laptop we are taking to France and hopefully post it. I think I've nearly got the store stuff figured out but I might not be able to play the file until tomorrow. So be prepared for a rather short chapter.

Chapter 1: Moving In
In a house in Monte Vista, Camillo Mancini was having a normal early morning, watching TV. His older brother Carlo came to sit next to him. “Hey Camillo. Apparently, there’s a dynasty founder coming into town. Think they’ll recruit us?”Camillo shrugged. “Well, you are good at painting, and I keep saying I want to try sculpting. Maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad idea.” Carlo shrugged. “I guess it also depends what skills they have. But yeah, maybe not a bad idea.”
Meanwhile, in CAS...
O:Makeover time!
G: Be quick.
5 hours later
O: Done!
G: Snore...
O: *Pointedly ignoring Grim* You’re amazing Savannah! Let me see your outfits again before we move you in to town.
S: Which town, anyway?
O: All will be revealed soon. Now get modelling!

Grim was finalizing the lot purchase and bank statement as Opal applauded every outfit.
G: You ready, Savannah?
S: As ready as I’ll ever be.
G: Welcome to Monte Vista!
Savannah looked around the lot. “So how much money do I get to build a house?” She asked brightly.
G: You don’t have to talk to us. Just think it. And around 1800 simoleans.

Savannah decided to make the best of her situation and went to move in the GilsCarbos as Grim told her, because the Mancinis were out. How he knew that she decided not to question. At least Opal seemed a great friend. Savannah felt kind of depressed as she chatted to Carlotta. She’d have to spend the rest of her helpers’ lives with them, whether she liked Grim’s choices or not. But as Savannah convinced her to move her family in, she began to actually like Carlotta and her warm frank frienship.
O: Ooh, how I love makeovers!



Carlotta immediately achieved her lifetime wish, giving her just enough LTHP for a genie lamp. For some reason the genie refused to grant any wishes. A small and temporary house was built with the money they had. Carlotta then went to befriend Savannah’s other helpers, the Mancinis. She soon convinced Carlo to move in. He made a quick phone call to Camillo and the Winterly household was ready to relax(ish-there were skills to be learned) into their new routine.

Sorry it's so short and that there are hardly any screenshots. I wasn't sure whether the collages count as 1 picture or 6. I hope you like it, it was kind of rushed.

Next time:
Felicity goes on a date, Opal gets on a sugar high and it's James' first year anniversary with Melanie. Meanwhile, who is Malcolm's girlfriend that Conrad mentioned? Find out in the next chapter!
There will be no screenshots next time, and mostly emails, letters and phone calls. There will be some actual bits too. The chapter after that I may have figured out the genie thing and can do the ID.

I lost the chapter with all the emails and stuff, when it was nearly finished, so instead I'm going to concentrate on fixing the genie bug. Depending on what happens there may be a chapter next week.

Chapter 2: Blackmail
The house was built with much rolling of Grim’s eyes. Opal claimed it was Italian design, and it wasn’t far off.

Anyway, Savannah loved it, as did her helpers. But she had to have THAT conversation with the Mancinis, and she was NOT looking forward to it. But that could wait. Plants were more important.

But after the plants were all in the plant bed...well, it...it was time for her to go to human bed!

Opal: C’mon Savannah. I’ll redesign your country bedroom if you don’t do it in the morning.
Savannah: I’m being blackmailed!
Opal: Yes. Yes you are.
Savannah: Fine.

And so, in the morning, Savannah ate some of Carlotta’s delicious pancakes. Then Carlo asked her to pose for a portrait in the art studio. Camillo came in with them and eyed the sculpting stations.

“Um, I need to talk to you two.” She took a deep breath. “One of you has to impregnate a lot of women around town so my heirs can marry original townie kids. One of you has to sculpt and then...impregnate me.” Carlo choked on something and messed up her nose. “Um...so you know, I don’t really care that you uh, marry me or anything. I just need an heir.” Camillo thought about it carefully. He hated kids, but one was better than a townful. Besides, family-oriented Carlotta would probably take care of the heir, and he really wanted to sculpt. “Um, I guess...I really like sculpting so uh...I’ll take the second one.” Savannah went pink. “OK. Um...Carlo...” Carlo nodded. “I don’t mind. I’ll look after the kids around town, and there’s not a chance Camillo would.”
Opal: He got you there, Camillo.
Camillo: Uh, hi...Opal, right?
Opal: Right on. Bye for now, y’all!

Next time: Carlo, Goopy and Carlotta age up and are made over, Camillo gets a bonus makeover and Carlo begins the wooing of the town. I'll have the chapter after that be the emails chapter, maybe.

Chapter 3: Growing Older
The house quickly developed into a routine.
Carlotta taught Goopy to talk and how to potty.
Eduardo played the guitar.
Carlo wooed Paola Romana.
Camillo sculpted.
And Savannah worked on alchemy.
But the next day was Carlo’s birthday!
He decided not tell anyone and took his cake to Little Gipper Fishing Park(Which Savannah renamed Pacifico Spring), as he knew Carlotta was busy teaching Goopy to walk before their birthdays in two days. Camillo was getting behind on sculpting, and Savannah had to make 50 vials of bliss and use 10 of them before her adult birthday, a self-set goal.


Carlo sorted himself out, after some cake.


Afterwards he headed to Noel Perry’s home, having been given directions by Eduardo. Only Emma was home.

He didn’t mind.
 


Camillo had finally started ice sculptures, and he drilled away into the calm of the night.

Savannah returned to her bed after vomiting in the toilet.

The next day, Carlotta made French toast.

Carlo spent the day at Emma’s and that night she discovered her pregnancy.


The next day was Carlotta and Goopy’s birthdays!



“I still got it!”

Chapter 4: Dialect
Carlo moved on to Paola Romana.


Opal: I’ve been living off coffee, just like Camillo. I somehow started making a playground for Goopy while delirious. It ended up surprisingly OK.



Grim: Well, it’s the weekend tomorrow. Aren’t you going home?
Opal: Decided against.
Grim: Let’s get on with the update then, shall we?
Opal: Yep. This is turning into a dialect.
Savannah: I ran out of apples for the Vials of Bliss!
Opal: Conjure up some more then. These sims are crazy...
Carlotta: Heard that.
Grim: OK, break it up!
The days passed without much fanfare. Emma texted Carlo to say she’d had a son and named him Owen.
Opal: I have a cousin called Owen!
Grim: I’m warning you!
Opal: Jeez, OK.
Carlotta decided to start keeping her hair in a bandana.

Savannah kept making elixirs, and kept vomiting, too.

Carlo got Paola pregnant. Emma wouldn’t let him see his son, having heard rumours.
He reassured her.

She got pregnant, too.
Opal: Good work, Carlo.
Carlo: I don’t want to do this any more.
Opal: Tough luck, sunshine.

Really short chapter, but I may do another chapter tomorrow. I really did end up doing the playground while half-asleep, and I think it's pretty good considering. I might do a pool with hot tubs as well.

Chapter 5: Sculptures
The days flew by again, as did Goopy’s childhood. On his final night as a child he asked Auntie Savannah to read him a story.
 
It was time for Goopy to age up again. His mother planned a family party with streamers and cake.

Goopy had other plans. He took his cake to Pacifico Spring and invited Marta Almeria over.



After eating cake with Marta, he sorted out his clothes.

He returned right back to the easel. His new trait was Savvy Sculptor.

Carlotta, angry about her son running away on his birthday, still made him waffles for breakfast.
Camillo aged up next to his bed. Savannah threw an elixir at him and he got back to work...and had a midlife crisis.

Opal: Come on, Camillo, Savannah ages up in 2 days! You still need 6 more ice sculptures!
Camillo: Urgh.
Opal: Chop chop!
Camillo: No! All I’ve done with my life is make ice sculptures and agree to some stupid deal that means I have to get stupid Savannah pregnant!

Savannah: Uh, hi Camillo.
Opal: *whispers* You love her really.
Camillo: For Watcher’s sake!
He stormed out.
Savannah: Have you been annoying him about the ice sculptures again? Opal, you know that upsets him.
Opal: Maybe.
Savannah: What does maybe mean?
Opal: Maybe means yes, I did annoy him about the sculptures. Among other things.

2 days later, he approached Savannah.
Camillo: Hey, sorry about earlier. Opal was annoying me. But, I got you a birthday present.

Savannah: Camillo, you know you didn’t have to do that.
Camillo: I did 25! I can sculpt you now!
Savannah: Oh my Watcher! Thank you so much!
Camillo: Well? Pose!
Savannah struck a regal, almost angry pose.
Savannah: I want my descendants to see me as powerful.

 
Savannah held a family party and Carlotta gave her an alchemy book, Carlo her Young Adult painting, Camillo the sculpture, Goopy a Wish Serum elixir and Eduardo composed a song dedicated to her. It’s funny, isn’t it? I’m dedicating this book to her, as well.
Nobody was sure, then or now, why she looked at Camillo while making her wish.

Chapter 6: Just Friends
Camillo stopped Savannah in the kitchen. “I did get something else.” He smiled nervously. He was tired.

“Aw, Camillo! They’re really nice!” She pulled him into a hug. They stayed in the hug for a moment longer than necessary, and then they went to bed.
 
Eduardo and Carlotta were still in love. Eduardo was at level 7 of his career and Carlotta had caught her first Angelfish. To Savannah, they were the perfect example of a couple truly, undeniably in love.

But she didn’t really want that. That kind of life just wasn’t for her, thought Savannah as she watered her plants.

Camillo finally got a makeover.

He went to tell Savannah. She smiled and, without thinking of the consequences, he asked, “You still need an heir?” She fidgeted with her hair. “Yeah, I do.” He leaned slowly forward and kissed her.
 
One thing led to another. And Savannah and Camillo shared the same bed that night.


Savannah learned her pregnancy the next day. Opal had given her maternity clothes.

She found Camillo out in the snow.
“Listen, Camillo. We’re, we’re just friends, right?”

She thought she detected a glimmer of sadness in his eyes. “Just friends.”

Also, I've written the letters/emails one about a billion times and my computer keeps crashing whenever I try again, so I don't know.

So, there will definitely be at least 1 chapter, probably 2 and possibly 3 chapters before Christmas. I've played 2 more chapters, written 1, and I'm trying to do the Opal's world chapter next, so we'll see. If I haven't finished it by tomorrow evening, I'll just post the next chapter which, yes, is the birth chapter.

Tessa: She misses you a lot. Are you coming for her birthday?
Opal: Yep. Sorted it out with Grim. Leaving Friday evening, so I’ll be there about 8:30 on Saturday to help with the party. I’ll be going back Sunday evening.
Tessa: Great! Actually, there’s something I need to tell you.
Opal: What is it?
Tessa: You’re getting another sibling!
Opal: What?!
Tessa: That is to say, we’re adopting a kid.
Opal: Oh, right. So, have you chosen one?
Tessa: Yep! A boy called Dylan Jones. He’s 12, eight months younger than Rose. He’s coming on the Sunday morning, so you’ll get to meet him before you leave.
Opal: OK. I gotta go, love ya!


James was carefully setting up in the party hall he’d rented for tonight. Melanie had given him a lot of money for his birthday, and James saved, always. He’d wanted to go all out for their first anniversary. His mum was cooking lobster thermidor, Melanie’s favourite meal, with key lime pie for dessert.

He greeted her with a smile and a bouquet of red roses.

He led her inside where they danced and talked for a while.

Then they sat down and ate their lobster, followed by the key lime pie.


When they’d finished eating, they went to the love tester.

Getting the highest score set the mood for slow dancing.

“What are you thinking?” James asked as he twirled her.

She smiled. “Just wondering what suprise you have for me next.”
He laughed. “Actually, I do have one more. Get in the car.”

Half an hour later, James was rowing them out to sea in a boat.

Melanie laughed and shook her head. “This is amazing! It’s so romantic!” James laughed too. “Yeah. You know, I’ve had this boat for ages. I used to go on boating trips with Felicity and Opal.” Melanie’s laughter died in her throat. “Opal’s very pretty.” “Uh, yeah, I guess.” He answered, confused. “You’re taking me on a boat trip, which is a very romantic setting, and you’re saying you used to do that with her?” James still didn’t understand what she was getting at. “Well, yeah.” Melanie folded her arms. “Have you kissed her?” “What?!” James choked out. “It’s a simple question. Have you kissed her?” James took her hand. “Mel...” She ripped her hand away. “Have you kissed her?!” “No! I love you!” James pleaded. “I see. Why was that question so hard to answer, James? Watcher, I’m an idiot.” James shook his head. “No, Mel. I love you, please...” Melanie sighed. “Just...row me back to the shore.” James sighed and began rowing.

“So...Mel?” She sighed again. “I love you too.” He hugged her. “Yeah.”

Woo! Finished it! That means I can finally post the birth chapter! If you're wondering why I'm trying to pump out chapters quickly...
a) I actually started this story January 2014, so that's nearly a year and only three prologues and seven chapters to show for it so far. I really want to get moving.
b) I'm getting Sims 4 for Christmas! Yay, but I have plans for a Sims 4 legacy or something, so I want to create a backlog of pictures ready until the "ooh, shiny" fades and I'll balance my time.
