Hey Mikeyspoons, welcome to the Forum!
I've not experienced anything exactly like what you're describing, but my Sims have lived on more than one "bugged" lots that have interfered with "normal" game-play. Sounds like the lot (for whatever reason, and there could a lot of them) is bugged.
Try this as a work-around:
- Save the game with a new name.
- Pick one Sim in the family, and make sure the Sim doesn't have ANYTHING in their inventory. Nuttin', Nada.
- Try moving JUST that one Sim to the new house (using the phone).
Hopefully, at least
ONE Sim will be able to get to the new house.
Once there, I'd save and quit the game, start it back up, and try to "merge" the households from the "Edit Town" screen (or have the Sim you moved into the new home call someone from their family up, invite them to visit the new house, and then invoke the "Move in" social).
Hope this works!
