Unborn Infant in Relationships Tab & Sim isn't pregnant? PS3

So I've been searching for over a week for this topic on the web hoping that maybe someone else dealt with this glitch and could provide some insight. Unfortunately I've found absolutely nothing so far, which finally leads me to ask the question myself:

My second family has been trying with zero success to have a child. After extensive research and over 10 different fixes (including a 'Reset Sim') I'm almost positive that at least one of my sims just cannot conceive and the couple will have to adopt. That's cool. The pregnancy issue is NOT what I'm inquiring about! I've read quite enough on that dilemma  What brought me here is that I was in my female sim's Relationships tab and happened to see an infant there with her last name. She's shown no signs of pregnancy at all and has no bump, yet the infant remains in her relationships tab even after resetting her.

This would be a funny (and spoiler) way to find out she's pregnant IF she were actually pregnant, which I really don't think she is. I even thought that maybe an extreme glitch happened and she gave birth to the baby somewhere else (lol) but I really don't think that's the case either. At this point the baby's name in her friends list is just a cruel teaser since I'm 99% sure she's still not pregnant. So how do I make the unborn baby in her Relationships tab go away? I'm playing on a console so there's no special code that I can type in to make everything magically disappear.

Is there anyone in the town with the same last name? Maybe it's someone else's baby? I can't remember offhand, I haven't played console for a while, but there should be a family tree somewhere that you can check if the baby is in fact in your family. When a sim is pregnant, you have to pick maternity clothes, which comes up on the screen the same as Create a Sim, so I doubt you would have missed a pregnancy. I have never seen a baby appear in the relationship panel before it was born, though.

Nope! No one else in town has the last name. Only myself and my spouse as I made it up from scratch. I went ahead and adopted, which turned out to be a very cool process Unfortunately, it's been 2 months (in real life) and that baby with my sim's last name is still in her friend's tab Thanks for the reply Stormi. I wish the baby WERE someone else's instead of some weird teaser glitch that I've yet to find a solution for.

Is this regular Sims 3 or Sims 3 Pets where inventing is available? If it's Pets, has she been time traveling? When I was playing on the console, I had a child (evidently my sims son) just walk into the house and start playing on the computer after she'd been time traveling? Could your problem be some weird version of this?
